I do hope Ric gets well soon, to be out for 2 weeks in the deep part the season is a bummer, for sure. That being said, Josh Carlson has taught a master class in commentary these past two broadcasts. Go ahead and jump on me with Rob Warner comments, I love the guy as much as you do and miss his commentary dearly, but this Carlson guy found himself in a job and in a commentary booth and brought two great performances for the fans. Well done Josh. His excitement is palpable and it makes for a fun vibe in the booth. This brought so much life and attention back to the broadcast, making the last two weeks the best productions the WB crew has pulled off so far. But it's not just the excitement, it's the actual play-by-play commentary. He is commenting on lines and getting focused in on the actual race. The rider style and movement. Too often with Ric and Aaron, they get focused on context, back-story, secret rumors from the pits, and literally the actual gear. Ric especially falters on talking about the gear while the race is in full heat. It sounds too much like an ad and the events up until Leogang and VDS this year have put me to sleep no matter how hard I tried. Put Ric where he can shine - conversations with riders, track walks, pit exploration, gear breakdowns...he has more of a documentary vibe. All of that stuff I like, truly, just not in the heat of the race. Josh pulls out Aaron's world class knowledge on lines and strategy, and it changes the whole dynamic. When they are pointing out lines and talking about the actual race, it feels like an exciting sports event and the viewers can actually learn what to look for and how to watch the sport. That's how you grow a base. Not just blabbing about some bike chatter while the athletes race down the hill. Go on Carlson!!
I would love to see more of the run down the track on several of the top riders. It is fascinating how they take different lines down the track!!! I do like the announcers!
Thanks for showing the finishes for most of the riders. Will you be able to show the full junior race from top to bottom later? A few more splits would be nice. 👍
El fallo fue que no estaba en la programación en la propia web de Eurosport, estaba en eventos en directo. Estos sustos no se dan Eurosport. Meterle caña a quien edita la web....
So you see the start a bit of the middle then the finish 🤯😤 not even going to bother watching any dh run's, there is no point at all. Might as well watch go pro runs later or tomorrow when I already know who the winners are. What a joke 🤣😴☠️
I wonder if this is the coverage you get for the Elite races? Watching free coverage I’m glad I didn’t subscribe and I honestly don’t think I could suffer through race listening to Cedric Gracia, legend on the bike but terrible announcer!
I hope he is alright and it’s nothing serious, but I am really glad Rich is not commentating this week! Really enjoyed last time without him, just not a fan. He says dumb s#!% like the most remarkable thing he has ever seen in downhill was Thibaut Deprèla shaking his hands out for like a second. Maybe if he had ridden down with no hands and won the race, but it wasn’t raining that day so he wasn’t going to win. Not to mention he said it sitting right next to two of the greatest (men’s) DH racers of all time lol. I would love to know what they were thinking. I am really enjoying Gwin’s commentary though, and Josh is doing a good job. If only we could actually see some racing! What they have done to this amazing sport is truly a tragedy.

At least show us the full run when someone takes the hot seat, those are the exciting moments we want to see when we pull up race coverage

Terrible coverage 15 seconds up top, nothing in middle and last 20 seconds of the track. - sort it out Eurosport
Aww poor juniors so little of their runs are shown..such a shame!
Wow, so fun watching the first 50 and last 50 ft. Garbage coverage.

Dissapointing!
BRING BACK RED BULL. This WHOOP uncoverage is a disgrace to our sport.
