how about recommended aftermarket mods video? momentum preservation in the name of fuel effiency, hypermiling like endurance racing at slower scale etc..r
All the Prius models have available aftermarket lift kits. I had a '17. Even without AWD road clearance, it is pure bliss, and don't forget about those winter tires. I have a friend with the same package on his '19 AWD, even better. Now, if Toyota could do something about the pesky cat rusting out (who runs HVAC fluids through the cat?) and a $2-3,000 replacement cost. Prius, lift kit, studded Hakkas up here in Manitoba, Canada.
You guys are the only good automotive review channel period. Nobody else covers the important information and discusses the practicality while still being able to accurately represent performance cars. You have completely changed my purchase process and I thank you for the invaluable education. I love watching you two. I don't think i could handle you guys retiring. Edit: Honda Ridgeline is my ideal car
I’m sorry jack is wrong about the civic being an appliance, it’s more then that. It truly is engineering brilliance, I’ll quote motortrend here “The way it responds to a corner, hunkering down then springing back as you turn in and track out, makes it feel like a German sport sedan for half the price. There’s an engineering cohesiveness to this car, a perfect blending of the powertrain, suspension, and braking”
Jack said the Prius has a cool factor that the other two don't have. I never thought I'd hear anyone, let alone Jack, say Prius and cool in the same sentence.
There needs to be an investigation launched ASAP into why the best auto review channel on RUclips doesn’t yet have 1m subscribers at the minimum. Criminal.
It's actually pretty easy to figure out why. Click on their shorts tab. Then to their nonexistent social media. They could be doing so much better if they just paid more attention to that and in the context of the hours that likely go into their long form content, producing short form stuff would definitely be worth the time.
I had a Prius Prime 2025 SE that I use to commute to my work that is 42 miles away from my home. I am in love with it. In eco mode I have an average of 62 mpg per week. I'm 6'2 and I feel very comfy on it. Great review.
Picked up a 25 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring in Boost Blue largely because of SG's original review on it. Really checks all the marks and looks nice to boot.
@RWDtechYes I'm sure Honda went out and bought a grabber blue mustang, took a paint sample, and spent years recreating it. C'mon man it's just an appealing shade of blue, relax 😂
lol at checks all the marks... Its a great car, sure, but it misses a lot of marks. Those exposed metal sheet window frames are the cheapest thing you can see in a car. The noise, the droney and unrefined engine, the stone age tech, the unremarkable looks,...
@AI-qd4vb I'm curious what you mean by stone age tech? Driving mine so far I don't really find myself yearning for anything tech wise, only legitimate gripe i have is the lack of ventilated seats or rear seat HVAC but neither of those are deal breakers for me (obviously). And looks wise, I know looks are subjective but the vast majority of people I've interacted with have had positive to very positive reactions to the Civic styling.
I just love that the prius is somehow in the conversation about a vehicle with a soul. Quite a testament to how far it's come when you compare the dynamics with the legendary Civic
This is an outstanding video. The two of you do as much work reviewing the cars and producing the videos as orgs like C&D do with a much larger staff and corporate ownership. Well done, Savagegeese. You’ve become the premier car-review site on RUclips and have done it without resorting to any gimmicks. Kudos.
@bedlambikes 8 wow!! Did they hold up well and you just wanted to upgrade? I've heard they are reliable, especially the made in Japan ones. I love my cx5
Hybrid CX-5 will hit the US in model-year 2027, premiering Mazda's own hybrid system & new SkyActiv-Z engine - as opposed to current CX-50 hybrid using Toyota's hybrid system & D-4S engine (both direct & port injection). IT wouldn't surprise me if Mazda discontinued the Mazda3 in the US in 2027 or 2028, just like they did with the Mazda6 after 2021. Sadly, Mazda3 sales volume in the US is pretty low compared to the CX-5, CX-50 & even CX-30.
I want to love the Prius, but Honda is out here showing you can still have a hatch that has actual space for humans AND a ton of their stuff. Goldilocks ass car.
@senseicorey9979I think it is too, and I wouldn’t hate owning one, but the civic feels spacious even with two kids, whereas it would be claustrophobic by comparison with the Prius. And the hatch space is…well it’s not even close. Civic is legit cuv territory. I know it helps with mileage but those skinny ass tires do no favors to the Prius either.
@senseicorey9979 I would never consider driving a Prius . They are some of the worst and most aggressive/oblivious drivers I’ve ever seen . Don’t want to be part of that stereotype.
the Prius just offers a lot more value at this price point point and more refined, it's like most toyota products.. its just made for long term livability
The Prius would be the goldilocks for me, if it didn't have such god awful visibility. Noise is a deal breaker for me, so I can't see buying the Civic either.
Picked a 2025 Elantra Hybrid Limited with my almost-out-of-college-aged son, to be his car. Our shopping experience mirrored this video very well. He felt that although the Hyundai wasn't absolutely the best, it was the most value per dollar spent.
Got a 24 civic hatchback sport.....lived in it for 9 months and loved every second. very roomy, I'm 6"4 and 250 athletic build....I could lay completely flat on my cot mattress and just relax. Thank you Honda! much love from Michigan. Little noisy at highway speed from wind and road noise, but for Me its a plus. Keeps Me aware of My surroundings and has helped Me to avoid reckless drivers more than once.
I used to have a new of those as well, same model year in Platinum White Pearl. I wanted to keep it but Honda disappointed me big time with a very rough shifting 6 speed manual that killed the driving experience so I got rid of it. I do have to agree that the car was very roomy specially when you folded the rear seats, I was able to fit a new long reach floor jack I got from Harbor freight there by folding 60% of the seats plus another passenger on the other 40%. Nonetheless after Honda ruined my first new car buying experience, I am not giving them any business again.
The quality of these videos are better than any huge automotive journal, it’s really impressive and I am shocked you guys don’t have at least a million subscribers.
Got the Civic Hybrid Sport last October for my wife after waiting for over a year for a Corolla Hybrid AWD that never came. After 5,000 miles she is all smiles, best driver car I ever purchased (after my C8...)! 2WD is no issue up here in Canada with good winter tires.
Nice! I’m looking at the Civic Hybrid Sport too, but I can’t find a dealership near me that sells it closer to MSRP. Both of the Honda dealerships in my city has a $5k markup with mandatory dealership add-ons. Do you guys have that in Canada too?
@JacksonWalter735 I paid MSRP for it last October, at that time there was not that many review for it yet, since then everybody raves about it. The thing that surprised me the most when I test drove it was how transparent the hybrid drivetrain was and how non intrusive the engine is.
It's kind of fun to see how you guys drive these hybrid cars like sports cars. Most hybrid owners don't drive like that, but the hybrid cars are getting so good nowadays that they are actually pretty fun to drive. Great review and channel!
I drive one about 3000 miles a month. Definitely a good solid little car that handles way better then you expect. Badly needed the power bump the new one got.
I can easily take my award winning Shrimp Scampi catering tins in and out of my Civic. I have a custom body wrap of shrimps to show my competition I mean BUSINESS!!!!
I just bought a 2026 civic sport touring hybrid sedan, traded it in for my 2020 si which I will miss dearly but for the phase of life that I will going into, Im confident this is the car that will get me through it and beyond
In the market for a new car, and you lads are the number 1 voice in truth and Business Jack. Great video, helped me choose my next Business-Ready hybrid.
I am completely in love with my Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback Civic. Granted, I've only had it for a few weeks so I'm still in the Honeymoon phase, but it is such a quick and fun car to drive. I mostly work from home so fuel efficiency wasn't at the top of my priorities, but it is very efficient.
You guys don't have the Corolla Touring Sports in America. We do have that in Europe and I declare it the clear winner of this test. Available with the 140 PS 1.8 hybrid system and 197 PS 2.0 as well. Big cargo space, average consumption is about 5,2 l/100 km (45 mpg). Great show guys, keep up the good work.
11:25 My 2002 Prius does not have an electric AC compressor, but it has a special evaporator core that is capable of holding on to coldness for quite a long time. When I'm at a light with the engine off, I still have A/C for about 45 seconds to a minute, and then the engine will run for 30 seconds to build up a good cold reserve in the evaporator core, and then shut off again. Gasoline cars with start/stop will do the same thing, except they usually don't stop again once they've started due to a climate control demand.
Also the prime is FWD vs the non-prime that has AWD. But I think that's due to their deceptive marketing. A thing Toyota made difficult when I rented it is that the engine turns on and off all the time if you don't have above the minimum charge. The answer is apparently to press and HOLD the HV-EV button so it keeps the motor on. That is the only way it'll charge the battery so you can drive it in pure EV mode and also will let it get up to temperature properly. Then you can go back to EV mode again.
@BadDFWDrivers When you say it turns on and off all the time below min charge, do you mean even when the climate control is on? Because the car is designed to behave like a hybrid when the battery isn't charged up, that's why it's called a plug in hybrid, you're supposed to charge it to save gas. Keeping the engine on to charge the battery is completely pointless and probably less efficient than just driving it in hybrid mode. If you want to drive in pure EV why wouldn't you just charge the car lol
I love my civic touring and drive 500 miles a week in it. I spend about 40 dollars a week in gas. Winter driving about 50 to 60 dollars. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about it’s just a great car all around. I’m 56 years old so it’s kinda hard to get in and out of because it’s so low to the ground. I may trade it in on a CRV or accord in a few years. The power train is very impressive to me because it just moves when you step on the gas. I had a jeep grand Cherokee with a 5.7 hemi and the civic is slightly faster even at high speed. The electric motor propels the car very effectively when passing. I’m still amazed at it after 3 months and 6000 miles. It looks great too!
just leased a civic sedan hybrid. i hung with a lambo and 911 the other day, i was driving hard and having a blast, they didn't even notice me LOL. I love it!
The Prius is so fun to drive. It blew my mind how go kart like it was. Granted I didn’t buy one but still wanted to drive one. Civic is such a great chassis, hard not to choose it.
And thats what's great about the compact market IMO. You really can't go wrong with most choices at this point, even the Corolla and Sentra have their positives. But these 3 are definitely the class leaders.
If you can stretch a little, you get quite a bit from the sport touring trim on the Civic. Quieter, the leather seats are nice, wireless charging, and the Bose is a very good sound system for the class.
Nobody will tell you in these reviews that the Honda Civic has poor build quality full of rattles and the worst value for cost. It also has the worse road noise for its cost. Least fuel economy, some real world reviews have shown 40mpg which is the same as the CVT which is horrible for a hybrid. Beware of that. It makes A LOT more sense to get a Camry Hybrid. More power, AWD, more interior space, more reliable. It's better in every way, and better in value.
Hybrid fuel economy tanks in the winter and that goes for all of them including Toyota. I have the Sport Touring Hybrid Sedan and road noise isn’t that bad but can easily be mitigated by using quality tires. The Camry only makes sense when you’re comparing it to the Sport Hybrid. You cannot compare a Camry LE or even the base XLE to the Sport Touring Civic because the Sport Touring is far better equipped. If you want rain sensing wipers on a Camry you‘re going to pay Lexus money for it which at that point, get a Certified Pre Owed ES.
@michaelnash2972 Having to recommend the buyer purchase a new set of tires for 1-2 thousand dollars just because the manufacturer was too cheap to put in sound deadening is unacceptable to me. Most buyers won't do that, and I hate how it's so easily thrown out. "easy, just buy new tires!" What's well equipped? The Camry comes with rear seat vents and the Elantra comes with ventilated seats. Plenty of other vehicles are better equipped than the Honda and comparable prices. On top of that, the Civic Hybrid's fuel economy is lower even regardless of its winter. AWD being optional is a huge plus especially since it's not limited to higher trims.
@ I have Rain Sensing Wipers, Leather seats, power drivers AND passenger seat, auto dimming rear view mirror, Bose sound system, Google Built in and the larger infotainment screen. If you want rain sensing wipers in a Camry you’re spending $40k and at that point just buy a Lexus ES certified pre owed. You also need to keep in mind that this is a Civic not an Accord. Civic and Camry shouldn’t be compared as Honda’s competitor to the Camry is the Accord. For 2025, Honda listened to its customers and added rear vents and USB-C ports to the rear seats on all Accord models.
As someone who has a sport touring civic and a c8 corvette lol, I’m not actually sure the sport touring trim was that worth it. Wireless charging can be installed for like $40 using one of the usbs, so not much of a selling point unless you like the integrated look. Wireless carplay is ass and I never use it. The speakers are nice, and leather is nice, but considering it’s like ~$3000 more I’m not sure it’s that worth it.
I drive a 2017 Ford C-Max hybrid SE as my daily. Absolutely love it! Does 0-60mph in 7.5s (I have a short vid on my channel of it achieving this time), has all the practicality I need, has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, backup camera, and gets 42mpg city and 39mpg hwy. Zero issues with it. Only oil changes needed. Such a great car for a daily!
The Civic would be my choice. Looks better, but the interior space is so much better. It's less quirky than the Prius and I really prefer not to have a giant screen across the dash.
@ayushmalpeddi2793 personal preference. I don't like the look of the square corner screens nor the amount of info displayed. I don't need it. I drive a Honda Crosstour and the center screens are off most of the time, even during the day.
@mtnman1984 Yeah il looks like a contrast setting but push it and has the on off. I also dim down my odo dashboard lights too in morning and night. Going to get every last inch out of this battery.
@ayushmalpeddi2793it’s not like there’s a lot to Honda’s interface that uses much of the screen. It’s pretty barebones by today’s standards which I think is a plus. I chose it over a Subaru cause the touchscreen in that was too much. I also think these huge screens are just another planned obsolesce anyways. They age poorly. I just need carplay.
Their next generation hybrid platform has AWD, I think it's debuting on the Prelude next year and will likely make its way into the Civic for its next gen model, or even possibly just as a new option on the current gen since the Prelude is basically just a Civic Hybrid coupe.
If Honda is pushing for the Civic hatch to be a good family car, I wish they would add rear air conditioning vents and maybe chargers. Or at least heated seated like the Canadian version has.
I live in Quebec and drive a 2017 civic SI...never miss AWD...just use good winter tires Not sure why there is so much focus on AWD...I think its marketing I drive in some serious snow...and ground clearance make a bigger difference than having AWD (as long as you're using winter tires)
Because AWD just hooks up and goes. No wheel spin when turning from a stop into traffic, where just FWD can be dangerous. IMO probably not s factor in all FWD cars but it definitely was in our Odyssey and we live in the South.
Ripping along in my 2022 Civic touring 1.5T and at 45000km I am finding it hard to upgrade to a hybrid even with subbar winter fuel ecomomy. I love how solid the hondas feel
I have a 25 Civic Sedan Hybrid and the winter fuel economy is the most disappointing thing. When below 5C I got 7.2 l/100k. I’m guessing it’s mostly due to it keeping the engine running for the heaters but I only had it set to 13C.
@Runningr0se that’s expected for hybrids. Fuel economy drops a ton in cold weather. In the summer/winter/fall I get around 50 mpg (4.9 l/ 100 km) and in the depth of winter I get around 36 mpg (6.5 l/ 100 km) in a ‘23 Accord Touring, which has a similar drivetrain as the ‘25 Civic Hybrids. It averages out to around 47 mpg (5 l/ 100 km) year-round since it’s only a few months a year where it gets cold enough to really affect the mpg.
I have a ‘24 Civic EXL hatch with the 1.5 liter turbo. I love this car and would not buy the ‘25 hybrid unless I drove almost exclusively in the city. Highway mileage is not that different. I typically get 44 to 47 mpg on the open road. I couldn’t care less the head unit is only 7 inches on my car. It does what I need it to and it is not distracting as I’m driving down the road at 70 mph. My advice, find a 2024 civic hatchback with the 1.5 on the used market. These are easily found with low miles and thousands less than the ‘25 hybrid.
Then why are there so many low mileage Civics for sale? Gutless wonder unless one floors it to get the turbo going? I have zero faith in a tiny 4 popper with a high revving turbo over the long haul.
1.5 liter isn't a good engine, honda never fixed the oil dilution problems that plagued that engine. They want you to change oil more often than required, fuk that
Maybe it’s just the way I drive but I’m at 45.2 with my civic hybrid. And it’s only been going up since I’ve had it and I live in Seattle, very hilly and drive on the highway between 40 - 70 mph. Longest roadtrip so far has been 2 hours and did drop 0.3 miles but went up on the way back.
@tonyn3227 oil dilution isnt a problem if you let the engine warm up/arent florring it in the cold for a short distance its also going to happen with any DI engine if you treat it like crap the real issue with the 1.5 is the head gasket.
The A pillar on the Prius was poorly thought out, yes they want to appeal to the younger drivers and do a Tesla angle dangle. But older customers complain they have to fall into the Prius and cannot get out without assistance.
@ yea exactly, like you say why do these cars even exist? Bloody useless cars it’s not like people need smaller cars that fit their environment better or anything
Correction - Prime is currently only available as FWD. Prius Hybrid gets AWD (eMotor)
model 3 lifted aftermarket for crash safety without efficiency loss in model y?
how about recommended aftermarket mods video? momentum preservation in the name of fuel effiency, hypermiling like endurance racing at slower scale etc..r
All the Prius models have available aftermarket lift kits.

Prius, lift kit, studded Hakkas up here in Manitoba, Canada.
Would have liked to see Corolla Hybrid added to list. Personally looking at one since price is better than Hybrid Prius
Strange, but that definitely explains the price
It's amazing how every car you guys drive has the engine limiter set to 58 MPH :)
There's a weird glitch where the speedometer disappears there. Odd.
@hotshtsr20Jack's ultimate T levels simply cause the value to disappear
they have a pact with the department of transportation that prevents them from driving any car over 58 MPH
Spoiler alert: Jack picked the Porsche, Mark chose the Nissan Altima…
I thought you were going to say Murano

Toyota resolved to address that very issue like a few years ago so that makes sense.
The new one isn't a weird bubbly egg with headlights anymore, it actually looks really nice.
Probably he meant the hashtag situation in the interior
Hashtag, hybrids are never cool. Only Porsche 918
@marcz9482 for sure, 🦆 the Prius

Johnny Subprime .... 24% interest for 144 months... No one is turned away! CLASSIC!
Love these comparison videos of day-to-day cars
I got the Civic Hybrid Touring Sedan a month and a half ago after many months of review and the test driving it, researching it. It’s really amazing!
I had a Prius Prime 2025 SE that I use to commute to my work that is 42 miles away from my home. I am in love with it. In eco mode I have an average of 62 mpg per week. I'm 6'2 and I feel very comfy on it. Great review.

I hope that Mazda eventually gets a hybrid option for the Mazda3.
Mazda just doesn't have the capital. Maybe if Toyota let's them use their power trains
Yes! I would love that! I’m waiting for that!
If Mazda ever gets a hybrid CX-5, it will be my retirement car haha. I love mazdas

Excellent! Now we need to see Camry vs Accord vs Sonata
The mature assessment of the stock audio is appreciated. A good system is about more than bass. Wish you had taken more corners in the Civic.
I was wondering the same. They were much more respectful in the Civic.
As a former Prius owner this was the first time I heard Prius and cool used in the same sentence.
Love these videos with affordable cars. Keep 'em coming.

What is the OTD price? Is it worth paying more for Accord Hybrid ?
The civic hybrid sport isn’t a drivers car, at all. Words have meaning.
You were pulling so many G's in these cars that (even sitting on my couch), my vision got blurry and could not see how fast you were going.
I would surely go for the Honda civic hybrid.
It's kind of fun to see how you guys drive these hybrid cars like sports cars. Most hybrid owners don't drive like that, but the hybrid cars are getting so good nowadays that they are actually pretty fun to drive. Great review and channel!
@HumbleBearcat I hoon my Civic Hybrid hatch first thing I did was upgrade to DWS06+ tires makes the thing handle really well! 🤠
Thank you for reviewing 3 normal cars. Very informative.
Sending the Prius through the corners mid sentence was funny EVERY SINGLE time.
3rd Gen Prius is underrated AF. Great car.
I drive one about 3000 miles a month. Definitely a good solid little car that handles way better then you expect. Badly needed the power bump the new one got.
Unfortunate about the headgasket issues though
@connorPiper0 The '15's have good head gaskets.
My 22 Prius is the best car I’ve ever owned! Absolutely bulletproof and can be found for $~20k or less these days
I can easily take my award winning Shrimp Scampi catering tins in and out of my Civic. I have a custom body wrap of shrimps to show my competition I mean BUSINESS!!!!

Got a Civic Hybrid ST Hatch. Love it. Very very refined.
34:00 dammit, Mark. Wear a belt.
He was trying to make the Civic more "exciting"
no that's my favorite part
I am completely in love with my Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback Civic. Granted, I've only had it for a few weeks so I'm still in the Honeymoon phase, but it is such a quick and fun car to drive.
I mostly work from home so fuel efficiency wasn't at the top of my priorities, but it is very efficient.
I am liking the Toyota Corolla hybrid as I like a sedan and it's pretty much the same as a Prius.
Watching mark take those turns in the Prius is glorious
Thank you for working on cars mortals can afford
Afford is being used very optimistically here lol
30:45 is delightful
“I feel like we’re in Korea right now.” @30:30 Dead 😂
Love these comparison videos
Thanks!
Thank you for the content.
I chuckled at the story playing on the Civic's infotainment screen. Another fine Easter egg on St. Paddy's Day!
Excellent reviews..
Great comparison. Really like the format. Well done!
Comparación! 🙌💪
I got my 2025 Camry LE with convenience package for 29k OTD. A better deal than all of these and I'd recommend that if you don't need a hatch.
I have the LE AWD. And can't imagine ANYTHING better in this price range. By far the most car for the money, sorry...Honda Civic, sure?
@cnhhncI test drove both and my wife and I both picked the civic. Despite it being more expensive with less features.
$20,500 OTD Corolla Hybrid. 63.56mpg my last tank measured at the pump. Best tank over 68mpg worst tank 47mpg.
thx...great review
lol calling out Washington State for the noisy roads. Accurate!
Nice to watch these video
You guys don't have the Corolla Touring Sports in America. We do have that in Europe and I declare it the clear winner of this test. Available with the 140 PS 1.8 hybrid system and 197 PS 2.0 as well. Big cargo space, average consumption is about 5,2 l/100 km (45 mpg). Great show guys, keep up the good work.
❤ thank you Mark
Damn guys. Caught you driving next to me in that Civic just the other day, and the video is already out. That's pretty impressive
Our work ethic is so high we could win influencer of the year awards in Antarctica
Thank you for reviewing affordable cars

Another solid review. Great work gents!
The fact that you are still driving your Prius from 2002 says a lot about Toyota Hybrid quality.
Good work!
The elantra is surprisingly quiet
Tucson is also SO much quieter than the Rav4 and CR-V. I still can't decide which one I want.
Hyundai hybrid is one of the least reliable system in the world
The undercarriage shot shows a lot of sound deadening, wonder how much weight is added with all this material and how this may affect fuel consumption
@kuyre2239That's a lie. 100%
@kuyre2239lol look at your comments so far. Did your family member get hit a Hyundai 😂
I love it!
who didn't notice u ?
Good review and comparison 👍🏻
The Prius is so fun to drive. It blew my mind how go kart like it was. Granted I didn’t buy one but still wanted to drive one. Civic is such a great chassis, hard not to choose it.
Love the Portishead esque music in the middle.
Love my Prime, put it in sport mode and it’s a different world ! Also, can go only electric for a quieter ride. Love this car !
We can get 100km (62.5 miles), in EV Mode with our 2024 Prime SE. Ya, we also love the car
Thanks for doing these. I really like this channel.
All 3 are good.
And thats what's great about the compact market IMO. You really can't go wrong with most choices at this point, even the Corolla and Sentra have their positives. But these 3 are definitely the class leaders.
@StrigidaeParliamentagreed
I want a Civic hybrid hatch so bad
These goose stingers are really doing it for me
If you can stretch a little, you get quite a bit from the sport touring trim on the Civic.
"easy, just buy new tires!"
What's well equipped?
I turn my info screen off, I know where I am going and do not need the glare in early morning and late night driving.
@ayushmalpeddi2793 personal preference. I don't like the look of the square corner screens nor the amount of info displayed. I don't need it. I drive a Honda Crosstour and the center screens are off most of the time, even during the day.
@ericscottstevens same. I drive a Honda Crosstour and there's that button that shuts off the center screens in two pushes. It gets used a lot.
This was a great comparison/review video. Thank you!
If they give the civic awd it will be the perfect car for me
Their next generation hybrid platform has AWD, I think it's debuting on the Prelude next year and will likely make its way into the Civic for its next gen model, or even possibly just as a new option on the current gen since the Prelude is basically just a Civic Hybrid coupe.
Mark commenting "She's a mover" and almost puking in a Hyundai, perfection.
Why is the thumbnail in 360p 1:02
Came here for either Mark or Jack to say "HYBIRD". I was not disappointed.
If Honda is pushing for the Civic hatch to be a good family car, I wish they would add rear air conditioning vents and maybe chargers. Or at least heated seated like the Canadian version has.
I know you’re saying you wish it came like that in OEM form but at least it’s possible to convert the rear to have AC vents.
@ I saw those and it looks like they could work fine but you lose like have your center console storage. It’s very odd cost cutting from Honda.
Civic does have rear vents for air conditioning - depending on the market. NZ model offers it
Nobody will tell you in these reviews that the Honda Civic has poor build quality full of rattles and the worst value for cost. It also has the worse road noise for its cost. Least fuel economy, some real world reviews have shown 40mpg which is the same as the CVT which is horrible for a hybrid. Beware of that.
@coffekadzeClearly they're talking about NA market
Love my Civic Hybrid Sport boost blue ✌️
I live in Quebec and drive a 2017 civic SI...never miss AWD...just use good winter tires
Not sure why there is so much focus on AWD...I think its marketing
I drive in some serious snow...and ground clearance make a bigger difference than having AWD (as long as you're using winter tires)
It's Subarus fault for convincing Americans they need AWD just to drive in the rain.
Awd helps in turns and emergency maneuvers
Because AWD just hooks up and goes. No wheel spin when turning from a stop into traffic, where just FWD can be dangerous. IMO probably not s factor in all FWD cars but it definitely was in our Odyssey and we live in the South.
This video got my T levels up something fierce.
Ok so dont upgrade lol
Then don't who cares, your car is 3 years old. Keep it for another 10 years and you'll be fine.
@thewhitecarrotThe Elantra? 😂 Bro hasn't seen the Civic and Prius 😅
More epicer than I thought it would be, and I expected epicer
25:00 movie character saying movie title moment
Watching these guys drive these things is hilarious.
These are easily found with low miles and thousands less than the ‘25 hybrid.
yes the Honda hybrid system is better for non-highway usage. The MPG's drop while engine revving goes up when speed is >70mph
@tonyn3227 oil dilution isnt a problem if you let the engine warm up/arent florring it in the cold for a short distance
its also going to happen with any DI engine if you treat it like crap
the real issue with the 1.5 is the head gasket.
Thank you for comparing daily traffic vehicles the plebs appreciate it
I really like the Prius but the forward visibility for me is really bad, worse than my Mini.
The A pillar on the Prius was poorly thought out, yes they want to appeal to the younger drivers and do a Tesla angle dangle. But older customers complain they have to fall into the Prius and cannot get out without assistance.
True masters of car comparison. Outdone yourselves yet again. You definitely need, deserve, more subscribers!
Camry Hybrid is literally the same price as the Prius and blows everything here out of the water
Not if you need a hatch, but that's about it. I too would take the Camry Hybrid over the Prius.
Camry is too big to be compared and not the same class, that should be compared with the Accord and Sonata
@rockino2562 Exactly... you're going up a size class and only loosing 3mpg for the same price as any of these inferior vehicles
it's a no brainer
@ yea exactly, like you say why do these cars even exist? Bloody useless cars it’s not like people need smaller cars that fit their environment better or anything
civic hatch hybrid all the time!! love the prime too..
That Civic hatchback looks great !
Looks ugly as f
