    Hands down, you are the best Procreate teacher I’ve ever seen on RUclips. You are methodical, explain enough but not too much, are quick to the point and clear with instructions. I also appreciate that you share potential scenarios we may encounter and how to work around them. I’m grateful to you for sharing your talent with us. I’ve learned so much already. Thank you so much! ♥️

    I'm just learning Procreate and this was super useful, thank you! Two comments: before blacking out on the mask layer, select the text layer menu and hit select. You don't have to be nearly as careful drawing the black, because it'll only black out where the letters are! Second, it took a few tries before I realized a tip: don't cross the flourish over a letter, it's a lot harder to mask. Make the crosses between letters and avoid the problem 😊

    Oh my! Thank you for your tutorial on masking. A couple of others were either excessively wordy, so I tended to dose off. The other was very informative, but was wrapped up in doing a comedic schtick, which I found off putting and distracting. Everything in your tutorial was articulate, concise, and to the point, and offered me more new and useful information that the others hadn’t covered. Please keep posting, because you know how to properly teach on a topic.

      You can bring in an image to trace over, or utilize Procreate's grids (hit the wrench > canvas > turn drawing guide on) which is great for blockier letters 👍

    Thank you so much for this tutorial, it’s the BEST on Procreate Mask. Could you also make a tutorial on the differences between Mask, Clipping Mask & Alpha lock using similar lettering examples? These are very confusing concepts to understand and I’ve watched many RUclips videos and still don’t quite get it. Thank you in advance!!🌟🌼

    Teela, thanks so much for the great job explaining!!! I have made some backgrounds that I would like to import for this project. They are stored in my Procreate gallery. Is there an easy way to import these into a layer or would I need to put them in my Photos first to retrieve them?

    • @EveryTuesday
      @EveryTuesday  5 лет назад +1

      If you go into the other procreate files, you can select the layer, then go to the wrench > copy, then return to the new file, hit the wrench > paste to copy and paste assets between files 👍

    • @EveryTuesday

      Hey! You can utilize their grid option to keep things aligned + sized right for blockier letters (like these) - to do that, hit the wrench in the top left > canvas > turn on 'drawing guide' and edit drawing guide as needed 👍
