    You should have mentioned that you reduced scaled the cleaned up external scan model along its locale coordinates system.

    Hi, first of all great explanation for variety of ways for internal cavity scanning.
    However, I curious about how do you align scanned silicone geometries with the main scan???
    With feature align or you scan the silicone when it in the port for the alignment?

      We used the partial alignment tool in Design X. You can select the area of silicon and the mating area of the part and align them.

    In place of silicone rubber you can use a coating then scan with x-ray 🤷🏻‍♂️

      You can certainly CT Scan the parts however, it can be very expensive on large parts.
