One of the moms at my son’s school was super clingy, super friendly, always giving me and my child gifts, offering to help me out, wanting to go out. I give people the side eye if they’re overly friendly. Turns out, she was genuinely just being nice, but definitely tell your friend how you’re feeling just in case things blow up with them in the future.
Yea I give ppl the side eye at first too until I feel it’s real. 🤷🏻♀️

@TressesOfAlexis Iight Therapy helps the whole body too! I have 2 different ones that can be used just about everywhere. Consistency is the hardest part. I am consistent with using it while exercising. The rest is a work in progress!
The egg boiler is my best friend!! Never going back to a pot….and I’m not big on kitchen gadgets but that one is totally worth it.

When you said you do t want to talk in the morning, I felt that cuz I am in no way a morning person. As far as the territorial friend; continue watching and clicking and more importantly praying. The Almighty will let you know when and if you need to intervene and will tell you exactly what to say. Love the vlogs and looking forward to the ones coming 💗

When I see that I think, “they are lucky they ain’t my kids!” Anywho, that is so terribly heartbreaking about the young man you mentioned who was killed tied to a tree. That’s absolutely horrific! I work from home. I would need therapy if I had to go back to an office setting. The commute alone was 80 percent of my stress. I don't miss it ALL. 😫😫😫😫

Hey Denise, I would just advise to her to be careful with that friendship (elaborate more only if she asks why). I’ve had a territorial friend before and they’ve crazy AF. They tend to think they are priority over anyone in your life plus they’re exhausting and energy draining.

Denise...I am cryyyinngg @ the 42 months!!!! 😩😩😩😭😭😭😭 After my baby turned one, he is just one until he turns two. I may reference 18 months for certain milestones/clothing size etc, but that's it. 42 months is too much ridiculous math.
I think it partly stems from all these new experts and doctors who tell you that your baby has to be doing all these things that our parents didn't remotely have to do with us in the 80's/90's. The doctors, "experts", and social media can really drive new moms to be extra and anxious if they don't have a solid and grounded old school village.
Also, I think it stems from new moms not wanting to let their baby go and grow. We really be having unresolved trauma that needs to be dealt with instead of trying to have these babies fix our emotional issues and in turn we mess they little heads up. Keeping them "babies" by counting months is likely indicative of a way bigger issue, IMHO.

Not sure if my other comment actually posted, so this may be repeat. Clingy friends will drain your entire life. I have learned to spot the signs of a clinger earlier and RUN. I just CANNOT deal with the suffocation. I would not mention your thoughts to your friend unless she brings it up first.
On another note, not being discovered dead at a cubicle job for 4 whole days... WTF?! I cannot begin to imagine what that smelled like. Poor lady. The egg timer song is PRECIOUS! 😊

I just went through the same thing. I was thinking….This is not the elementary playground 😂 As a friend…I warned my friend. I told her she’s not my cup of tea and lovingly told her why. She heard me out and that was it. Months later she seen it for herself and told me she’s backed off from her. You should say something but don’t condemn her….lovingly protect your friend.

Because of the Panny, I've been working from home since March 2020 and I love it. I am not an office person and would find another job if I had to go back to the office. Thankfully, my job is permanently WFH.

I work from home and I love it. I don't miss the drive or paying the tolls to work. We have the same work attire. My new boss wants us to come and work one full day at the office to meet him. I know it's only one day, but I'm dreading it.

As far as your friend and her friend, I wouldn’t say anything, Denise. It’s hard not to, but let it play out. @@DeniseAdore This is my last comment for tonight lol, I do believe that there is something off-putting, some type of weird dynamic that is going on with the friend that is purchasing gifts for everyone. She could be lonely, it could be so much deeper than what we truly see. I also hope that we are wrong, low key because some people are those types of givers who we may feel over do it. I almost feel biased because my heart has always gotten me in trouble and I end up in the same space as your friend, it’s a very slippery slope. That’s why I said, I had to learn the hard way, but I learned by keeping my circle tight tight and having boundaries on boundaries on boundaries in every space that I occupied. 💛

It was really sad about that young man from Chicago and yes racism is still strong. I live in Indiana and racism is alive and well. My daughter went to college in a small Indiana town I thought I was going to have to go down there and hurt some people to put it mildly
