I am facing the same problem with bno055 Euler data correction. It is but weird. Will wait for you next video

I have already done that. Please wait for next video. BNO055 orientation will be perfect, without any glitches.

I just ordered 2 adafruit BNO055 AND raspberry pie zero 2w and multiplexer

you can use sensor GY-91 and to reduce the cost of materials (meaning less), send the data over wifi, esp32 can perfectly handle it and you can send the data and parse it with json. this guy did it as well in UE4 ruclips.net/video/-snMEgDAt94/видео.html but he uses quaternions you would only need to make a pcb that holds battery, sensor and micro controller but this would need a micro controller for each body part. but this depends on how you want it.

Thanks for the comment. Yes mpu9250 is an option. I will try that as well. So far bno’s accuracy is great. I already have removed the glitches and fixed the orientation.

With mpu9250 cost can come down significantly

Frame rate per second ? Is there any latency ? And what about y-axis movement (stairs, ladders, off-ground, etc) ? Can we improve accuracy via BMI160 or BMI270 or MPU6000 ?

It is 10FPS so far. Can be taken up to 100FPS by setting the delay of 10ms. Y Axis movement is possible to calculate, by integrating the linear acceleration. I have not reached to that stage yet. Regarding other sensors, yes possible, but again haven't tried it out yet. MPU6000 / MPU6050 as per my knowledge, is 6DoF. It doesn't include magnetometer. However, MPU9250 is 9DoF. I will try it soon.

Thank you very much for the comments. Just to let you know, I have already managed to get absolute orientation using BNO055. And it is perfect so far. I have tried it overtime and it works. I will publish my paper and video soon. Please stay tuned. Thank you once again

@@others-makingofrpgvideogam4262 According to this video 👉 ruclips.net/video/_q_8d0E3tDk/видео.html Double linear acceleration adds drift in resultant data, SO are you going to add any extra reference data to correct drift after certain interval of time-frame ?

Anytime will you be able to make ready to use trackers and sell them online?
