If you feel called to celebrate Jesus through art and storytelling do it- even Jesus taught in parables. God knows your heart. The stories you create will please Him when you focus on what God wants to see from you- always be asking Him questions. Think about His plans for you and move in faith. God bless you.

I asked myself if manga is the thing that God wants for me, because I've been told that things like dragon ball and magic stuff are evil, I even had a stage were I prohibited myself from playing a lot of things that I love, mostly videogames of the sort which were 90% of what I enjoyed and still enjoy up to today. So making a manga almost entirely about Christianity sounds even boring for me, I like heavy, powerful, dark and dramatic action genres which I can't just see myself combining with the innocent and normal live things my religion depicts, will Jesus be good with that? I don't know, and that though drills my head
We Christians must do that. I really like Colossians 3.17. By the Holy Spirit, we can do it, create the best manga and anime that bring people to Jesus and make a bridge to Jesus. Being truthful and entertaining. I believe I'll do it; by God's grace, we can do all things.
I mean you can make a slice of life that shows christian values and beliefs or if you want to make an action or action fantasy you would need to make it without gore or killing of people the enemys can be beast or monsters and I would advise that the theme be of christian beliefs like helping other be charitable etc. Atleast this is what I think a christian manga would be like
I have the same goal but I want to make sure I don't write something blasphemous because God will hold me liabale because if it teaches falsely God will not be happy as he was unhappy with the friends of job falsely speakjgn things about God that were not true as well as not twisting sinful worldly things to make them look good,as for watching or reading things that God hates that include sourcery and glorifying magic demons eastern religions this is not good,I stopped watching anime a while back because God was angry the bibles clear we cannot not serve 2 masters,David said I will put my eyes before no wicked thing and if things glorify evil we should not be promoting them but instead Glorifying God,anime art style ajnt evil at all which is why I'm growing in the art,but the themes behind the anime's you mentioned are satanic I pray you think about this rather then push away the sharing. if your ever interested in discussing would love to encourage you young man and maybe you can help me with drawing and learning more if you got contact enough let's chat the bible Godbless you
