- The other Gemmy is James Brown and it has a split pulley similar to what I put on Dean. So either this had one and it fell out of his mouth or it was a tension version with the string on the shaft, I believe the pulley most likely fell out.

I have a gemmy tabletop Chucky. His jaw also is supposed to move up and down when he talks but it stopped working. Do you have any idea on how I could fix it
More often than not it is a broken belt. But some Gemmy's will have the motor, drive gear or hinge break. I find it varies on storage temperatures. You would have to open it to verify which has failed. Parts would be acquired from www.skullkrane.com, that is where I get my parts from.
His arm is actually also not fully working his shoulder piece is supposed to bring the mic further and closer to his mouth is not working
And The Motor in the head is probably just locked up
I didn't think it was moving fully but I wasn't positive. Thanks for the info, will come in handy if more come in.

I don't believe so, it is thinner and would most likely wear through quicker. Also, I am not sure what the tinsel strength is, but it is probably weaker than the braided nylon.
