- Moving deeper into the build of the Cheetah Evolution, Stacey and the crew pull the skin off this cat and start putting in the guts. Overviews of suspension, steering, and brakes get this project up and running. Moving into the heart of this beast, Stacey shows us that good things do come in small packages-the LSX 454 small block is sure to get your pulse rate up. And once the transmission is mounted, look out! Headers follow, and this cat is almost ready to run. Stacey’s tool tech will give you a lift.…all this and more on GearZ.
Man I miss these shows, not all of them but yeh, good stuff.
So much fun when money is not an issue! Spend, baby, spend MO money!
The narration is so smooth and flows so well. It is like a chocolate fountain at a great wedding.
Love how in the fist episode he praised LMC for having such a great and compact LS front set up and now he jumping over to march, gotta love spending sponsor money
You read my mind. 454 is the way to go. More than enough power for this ride.
I don't think I have ever seen Stacey torque anything down...I could also be imagining things.
I just wish all sitcoms would transition with Airhammer sounds. Imagine Seinfeld episodes with that in between each scene. LOL!!
Hi mr. Stacey David I got one question for you with the cheetah! Or should I say a couple of questions oh, did you ever take it out on a track? Did you ever take it out for a high-speed run? Did you ever put it on a Dyno or rear wheel horsepower? Of course there's 100 questions it goes with each of those questions, I would love to hear the answer since I don't get your telecast anymore would love to hear more about the cheetah thank you
All episodes of Gearz are on my channel, so you don't need the telecast! The Cheetah is still in process, but should be ripping pretty soon!
Me, I would've went with a NASCAR Jerico 4 speed. A 5 ton truck 13" clutch plate and NO hydraulics. Also an accumulator brake system with 13x3 finned drum brakes.
Cool. I'm the 11,111th viewer.
Hope that was your wife that was in the shop her pantyhose are laying on your QuikTip bench ha that's funny usually they're hanging from the shower bar 😎
I dont understand: LS engines are normally all aluminium in standard form, so why would you buy a heavier IRON block in a car that places so much emphasis on LIGHT weight...? Seem paradoxical...
Take something cool and Yawn throw an LS into it. YAWN dont care how good or bad an LS is, time to think outside the box and look at a gold mine of cheap drive lines. Jeep 4.0 just peek in a junkyard and see how many Cherokee, or Grand Cherokee you can find with 4.0 and auto trans, and some with manual (AX15 and others).
Or a turbo charged 2 rotor out of an RX7. Smaller, lighter and higher revving with close to equal power.
I'm a chevy guy and agree the LS is taking over the world but really a heep 4.0. If ya gonna go I6 at least keep it in the spirit of the build and keep it GM and go a GM 292 (4.8). Otherwise if you gonna repower a chevy powered ford killer with something from dodge might as well suggest the demon hemi crate engine.
youre a fucking idiot. jeep 4.0 is just the old chevy 231. its cast iron. it makes not dick for power. it weighs a ton. LS motors are cheap as fuck. they are everywhere. they are lightweight. just shut the fuck up.
