I spend money on passes and sometimes on new characters I’m sure it adds up to $4000 a year just to have fun in this game. As soon as this guilt came on to me, your video popped up in my feed. But they are getting way too greedy and everything you said was spot on with how they are pushing up the level of FOMO and they need to check themselves because they are pushing out the casual spender but I for one am sick of it, going FTP and just going to suffer as being a player that cant keep up anymore. This is my first week MSFree and I do feel a lot less stressed. Keeping up to date and maximizing resources used to be so rewarding but now everything is boxed in with paywalls. I don't think Scopely realizes how damaging it is to not have highly engaged people be able to contend with whales. Its just going to make people less engaged because there's no point in strategizing when they've set the upper limit on your progress for you.

It’s wild the amount of time this game consumes. I quit after playing for a few years and then came back for some reason. But already burnt out on the time required and because they always want money, but that makes me want to spend even less.
I started playing the game pretty much when it was first around. So when Drax was great in blitz, Quake was someone you wanted on your team, Yondu, then Strange became a new release and all the whales had him day 1. We never had any of the Spider Verse characters, the X-Men were coming around the corner after a couple of months, but wasn't out. I remember getting Thanos and I think he was part of an event, same with Thor aswell at the time. Anyways, long story short, I was an early player, so my roster coming back to the game, was super outdated. I noticed I had Gamora, Drax, Quake, Cap, Thanos, Yondu etc. Pretty much were my mains I dumped all my resources in. Now I've come back, I'm having alot of fun playing, love collecting all the characters the best I can, so I'm enjoying playing, but trying to play all the content in the game, takes up tonnes of time sometimes, nearly playing over an hour at a time when logging on. My main problem is just the distribution of gold, training modules and even ability materials. The game wants you to have plenty of teams, for all kinds of content, but there just isn't enough resources given out in the game, to even be able to progress very much. I'm empty every day of training modules, because I need about 3 or 4 teams each in game, to be able to get characters like Black Cat, Goblin Classic and Nova at the moment. So it's just frustrating at the minute. I'll probably still play the game for now, since I am still enjoying my play time, but it's a pain when I'm logging on and I can't get anything done until I've got 100's of everything, to even level up and play the game as it intends me to play. PS. Quick edit: new players never had Spider Society for free, via milestone unlocks, so we never got a good start back then. Plus Spider Society can carry you through the whole game essentially, that's how good they are in multiple game modes.

CC and Scourge used to be so fun now it's pointless at least with the mephisto only high level aka whales would get him but captain Britain no time needed just pay money get overpowered character to compete in PVP match and win basically all match against those who doesn't have. You had an opportunity to leave with a statement if you accepted tournament and made the voices of the disgruntled players heard louder but you said "it wasn't fair for the other CC", really? I mean what scopely is doing is using the CCs to promote a quasi E-sports and not addressing any of the issues and brushing the issues off. You had your chance... True, we should all be look out for our self-interested but as a CC you do get extra privileges, that is why you can get invited to certain special events then the thousands other players of MSF.

CC and Scourge used to be so fun now it's pointless at least with the mephisto only high level aka whales would get him but captain Britain no time needed just pay money get overpowered character to compete in PVP match and win basically all match against those who doesn't have. The fact that even giving 1 star britian is asking too much for them

You had an opportunity to leave with a statement if you accepted tournament and made the voices of the disgruntled players heard louder but you said "it wasn't fair for the other CC", really? I mean what scopely is doing is using the CCs to promote a quasi E-sports and not addressing any of the issues and brushing the issues off.

True, we should all be look out for our self-interested but as a CC you do get extra privileges, that is why you can get invited to certain special events then the thousands other players of MSF.
Instead Run clapped them by just casually quitting msf after being the central cc covering the event 😂
