In the previous episode, the irradiated black bear (which goes by the Chinese name yao guai, roughly means monster or demon) first appeared in Fallout 3. "Yao Guai" in Chinese mythology are considered to be physical manifestations of the spirits of mistreated animals.

this Gulper is different than Far harbor gulper. California Gulpers was made by scientists in Vault 4 and Far Harbor Gulpers are natural evolved
Out of all the vaults I believe 31-33 are the only ones linked.
