The incredible possibilities in educating people around the world is mindblowing. Additionally; what if we can get Russia and Ukraine and other stakeholders to agree to allowing GPT-4o to have a seat at the table to reach peace solutions.
tbh, I can't see how the latency is gonna be that low, were they testing it in a local environment? It feels 5x more responsive than anything out there.

I think it comes from the fact that it is a, we could say, native multimodal system, it does not need to convert audio into text, nor images into anything, but it processes these data streams directly. That might be the coolest thing of this omni model.

They even went as far as to say that a a a powerful system that calculates logic operations, could process speech, draw art and make music like humans do. i paid subscription yesterday and today it's free for everybody... by the way even paying t's not as it looks like in this demo, answers take 3-5 seconds and it's not immediate, it's also really schematic and not human friendlly like i see here
