Tradition
Once upon a time, a song filled my head, Tradition! Tradition! it happily said. It felt like a blanket, warm, safe, and sound,The way things are done, on familiar ground.
But as I grew older, I looked all around, This tradition of mine, on not much ground it was found. It belonged to my family, a special kind, Not everyone followed, it wasn't entwined.
Then stories and history, whispered my name, Of churches and kingdoms, a grand, holy game. I searched for the truth,where it all began, An endless, old river, a long, winding plan.
One day, a new path, opened up wide, The Most Ancient Church, with stories inside. Saints and kings, feasts, and a joyful sound, Traditions of old, on holy ground found!
Now bells proudly ring, with a message so true, Tradition lives on, with me and with you!

Then one day I discovered, a path bright and new, The Most Ancient Church, with stories so true. Bells filled the air,with a welcoming sound, Traditions of old, on holy ground found!
The world keeps on spinning, but some things will stay, The traditions we hold, light up every day. So let's sing and rejoice, with a happy heart, For traditions that teach us, where we'll always play a part!
