At 26 with a family the military SOF seemed kinda out of reach but realizing the NG has the 19th/20th SFG has revitalized my training once more.
How are you getting a long with it
I still say we all (Americans) should have to spend 2 years minimum in the military, Branch of your choice. That goes for females too. Those youngsters going to/enrolled in college, send them to Bootcamp right out of High School, then allow them to go reserve.
service 2 years and get a gi bill for an associates or 4 for bachelors would snag a good amount I thonk
Epic!
I thought I just had to serve 3-5 years then you can drop a packet for marsoc…I’m asking I don’t know for sure.
3-5 years is just the general window.
Rank requirements go as follows:
-At least a “senior lance corporal”, a Cpl, or a Sgt with no more than 18 months TIG upon after being selected attending ITC
Cant be too new and can’t be too seasoned
I’ve heard there taking guys with atleast 6 years experience
AGREED - don't think you can do a MARSOC contract on the front end. They need to see you perform in your role (MOS) 2-3 years, then typically, you go through an endless screening process - same thing goes with Marine Recon, always tip of the spear serving Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU's)
…so nothing about Delta?…I wonder why🤔
Cuz you need to go to another spec ops unit most of the time to go to delta
Wow, Tim Kennedy didn't have enough respect for the audience to at least be stationary in a vehicle so we can get halfway decent audio and video?
That's it, I'm going to have to start ranking SF guys below SEALs from here on out - Damn, what a shame.
Solid!
Great video series.
