maybe this is strange, but i like finding garments that i've worn through. it makes me feel a sense of accomplishment--like that thing i made served its purpose and it also reminds me of how far i've come. it looks like you are getting so much out of this challenge--it's been inspiring to watch.
Thanks for sharing your journey through your wardrobe. It is very interesting to hear your explanations and thought processes. I may even get inspiration and clear some of my wardrobe.
I’m really enjoying watching your Me Made May videos. You have made a lot of things that I would like to make and hearing what you have to say about them is very helpful. The great thing is that so many different garments are being shown and discussed at the same time. Sort of like a “short” of pattern reviews for the week.
Ah thank you, I’m not brilliant at going into lots of detail, but I am really enjoying sharing my me mades and how I am fitting them into my life, I’m actually learning quite a lot about fabrics, colours and shapes I prefer by doing this, I’m so glad your enjoying 😊 x
glad you enjoyed it, I am actually really enjoying going through this process, although I am missing not re wearing some of my favs! but I when the month is done, I will have a few more favs by the end of it :-)
Love to see how you are getting along. The dress you wore to the school workshops was [especially] a stunner. Your skintone seems to come alive in brights. Could I ask a question which I think everytime I see your [lovely] gingham trousers. Have you thought about a pink gingham top to go with them[same fabric] I've seen quite a lot of pink gingham sets in the fashion magazines this Spring and I did think it might be more fun for you than sewing with plain fabric. You might also get the jumpsuit look without having to make the whole garment. You are so busy to do this challenge - so very inspirational - thankyou!!
I think that is a great idea, I have a blue gingham stretch and I was trying to work out if I did a T-shirt if I could pair them, need to find a similar pink to go with them in gingham, I tend to find the pinks in gingham tend to be more dusty, I will keep looking x
Hi Becki. I’m loving these vlogs and your honesty about what is working for you and what isn’t. I’m finding it’s prompting me to think about my wardrobe. I hope you enjoyed the social. ❤❤❤x x x
I felt exactly the same as you about that bubblegum pink fabric. I’ve seen so much of it destashed. I would’ve loved the brown colourway, but it’s the chance I took with a subscription box. My only opportunity to use it might be my little niece, but her parents don’t really appreciate me mades.
I’m glad I used it, sometimes you don’t know how you feel until you put it on 😊 it would make a lovely little girls dress, it’s a shame they don’t appreciate memades, so much effort goes into it x
Hi, no I make no adjustments to this pattern, except sizing down, I don’t know if this helps but I am a chest of 40” hip of 46 and I make the size 14 x

I can relate, that’s how I felt about this particular garment 😊
Thank you so much x
I think the print you hacked from the Freya looks like a cute nightshirt

Haha thank you so much 😊 xx
Snap. I wore my cocowawa plum dress in the same fabric as your Zadie jumpsuit on Saturday. Love your jumpsuit.
Ah thank you lovely, it’s a gorgeous fabric isn’t it x

Can I ask, do you make a bust adjustment on your Zadies? Mine doesn't have as much coverage as yours. 😁

Thank you, that's a big help.😁
