    The fact that you didn’t edit out your mistake says a lot about you. Your students are fortunate to have you as an instructor. I never formally studied GoJu Ryu, but I was a competitive boxer, and later studied a few Chinese styles to gain more versatility as a fighter. However, I am always looking to improve, and I have no problem pulling useful ideas from other martial arts to augment my training. GoJu has many such strong points, and your channel has been very helpful to me. It’s very kind of you to share so much high quality , detailed content for free. Thank you for that my friend 🙏🏼

    I tried the four directions with sandan gi (solo!) and got something going. I work it as a kihon, 3 steps forward punching, 3 steps back uke. Start from a middle block/sanchin stance on each turn then all in the proper stances and angles of course 🙂

      It is one of Ché's great honours to have trained with Kinjo-Sensei at the Jundokan, and we love to see that he is also sharing his knowledge on RUclips for future generations. Thank you for watching and commenting!

      Discipline yourself to train every single day. The growth is in dismissing excuses not to.

      The best and most simple answer. Show up, every time. Even when you feel bored/tired/overwhelmed. Show up. Train. Repeat :D

    • @GojuRyuKarateCentre
      @GojuRyuKarateCentre  Год назад +1

      There is much to this question - routine helps. Having someone to hold you accountable helps. Goal-setting. Mindfulness. And just showing up every single time.
      But definitely a question to be explored in a longer video :)
