I hate/love watching your videos, they always make me want to buy more and new gear that I don't have money for haha.
Sootch! The Godfather of Reviews. Seriously man, you could make a blank piece of paper the most interesting thing in the world. Keep up the great work man.
+ZyPhReX Lol! Thanks Brother.
+SensiblePrepper just starting watching your reviews today. And I have to say I really enjoy them. Keep up the great work, will continue to watch ur videos
Amen!!

ZyPhReX coool
I have several of these Maxpedition Organizers that I used inside my Maxpedition Falcon II backpack. I found that using these to color code, classify, and store smaller items are very convenient in a larger pack. Also, I found the little round Maxpedition tactical can case is the perfect size to store a Headlamp. Never tried the Maxpedition TacTie's, just use either the Blackhawk Speed-clips or the Vanquest Molle-Sticks.
Great video as always Sootch. I just got my pocket organizer put together recently. I love it. Especially on the days I'm too lazy to slap on my edc bag.
Excellent video. I absolutely love the Maxpedition pocket organizers.
You are a great teacher Sootch . Thanks for info
My go to guy fro maxpedition reviews sir! Thank you! Just picked up a micro pouch.
Hello Sensible Prepper. Your video's have helped me a lot! I have watched a lot of them and have found them very useful. You've introduced me to many nice Packs and items. Thank you for some very informational videos. Keep it up.
I use the Micro as a dedicated EDC IFAK. I keep it as skinny as possible. Right now it fits comfortably in my jeans back pocket. In it I have : SWAT-T tourniquet, 2 gauze pads, 25g quikclot sponge, nitrile gloves, 3 alcohol swabs, folded duct tape, an ibuprofen tablet and various sized band-aids. All of my band-aids and gauze pads are in ziploc bags. As it is now it is thinner than my wallet (which I keep in my side pocket).
Nice to see your take on a classic👌
That AAA battery, at 7:51, will fit inside of that Maxpedition tag at the top of the pouch, behind the leatherman. I use it for a single AAA in all of my Maxpedition pouches.
I've literally been looking for a video to compare the maxpedition edc organizers, couldn't find one till just now. You've have inspired me and my friend very much in the past few years. Thank you.
+Angelina Mcnally Awesome! Glad to help.
I have a suggestion. @5:28 I have found round, flat make up removing pads at dollar stores. Around 80-100 for $1. I put Vaseline in them middle and fold them. Just make sure it isn't enough to squish out. They hold enough Vaseline to light a fire easily and they take up less room than cotton balls.
That sounds really smart
You can also use Backtracking instead of Vaseline. Works for fire, but can also serve as a part of your boo boo kit. Dual use.
I have a keysmart and I love it.
sootch you need to do an edc bag for us folks stuck going into office buildings where we can't have sharp objects. great review again.
maxpedition is thumbs way up for sure man! love your reviews!!
Love your videos. You make everything interesting!
hands down...some of the best ideas for organization
Nice EDC.Very Enjoyable.Thanks
Some Sootch ESP action going on, I picked up a Maxpedtion Gyrfalcon a couple of months back and although I have a few Maxpedition organizers I was starting to look for something more, for external mounting. Thanks brother.
I love your UsefulThingy mat!
I can see these being very useful on a long term hunting trip where you have a base camp but take one of these out while your scouting or even just taking in the sights.
I'm a fan of the NiteIze Backbone series of EDC pouches(20,30,40).
They are tough, very water resistant, are inexpensive, and have the best belt clip on the market.
Got the maxpedition mini and a chubby. Also got the olight S2A from going gear. Thanks Sootch.
Sootch, no one does a better job on reviews than you!!
+BZA RZA GZA Thanks Brother!
SensiblePrepper can I have one???
One thing you could add to the pack is a 32 Gb Flash drive. In case you have to leave you house imminently, You can have valuable files backed up like family photos, or Citizen legal papers, to legal gun licences. Have important and meaningful files backed up somewhere.
Thank you for the video 5 years later. :) ive tied a bunch of paracord around the grabhandle just to give it a little more thickness
Just an idea...by a useful coincidence it's possible to fit a AAA battery into the Maxpedition label in all of these organisers...saves you having to use one of the elastic loops (so you can carry an additional item!)
i put my nail clippers through the label
love the watch sooch!!!
Outstanding video!
Man, I would love to see your review (and build) for the new Maxpedition Falcon III. Please!
1:03 So you had a chubby and gave it to one on your buddies. Good to know you're that kind of friend ;).
+tgillies101 I love surprising my friends that don't ask : )
+sootch00 I officially declare us friends, surprise me!! Lol!
Aaaah man you beat me to it lmao.
HAHAHAHAHA!
What’s a chubby? Fish?
Hi from the UK
So strange, I was literally just looking at these online when the RUclips notification popped up for this video
Just getting in to prepping and EDC, think I'm going to start with the mini and go from there
Great videos, keep them coming
Ben
great review. definitely a must have.
I'd recommend packing the batteries into a small closable plastic bag.
Some moisture will eventually make it into the pouch and may cause the contact-seams of the cells to corrode.
The plastic bag will help with extending their lifetime in that regard significantly... and also can be reused for different appliances.
finally a new video! love it !
I would like to see your thoughts on key bar vs. keysmart. Been looking into both, and will hopefully get one for my birthday or father's day. I need to decide which to ask for. Keep up the good work Sootch.
Love these organizers👍
I know it sounds stupid but even though we dont have pistols in the uk i really want a jackson leather works holster lol
Great lil packs. Gonna grab 1
awesome video man keep them coming!!!
Very helpful video.thank you.
I bought the Fatty first, it's in my Max. knockoff UTG bag. And I have a black Mini that's either in my center console or on my desk at work.
great video, well done 👍
crap on the discount, i just placed an order with maxpedition yesterday. this weekend will be reorganizing my different kits.
Super EDC ele está perfeito contem itens de emergência. Parabéns! Rio de Janeiro Brasil
I've managed to fit a remarkable amount of stuff in my micro organiser. I've got:
Rite in the rain pad
Space pen
Swiss army knife
P38 can opener
USB lead
Nitrile Gloves
Portable charger
Sewing kit
Lens wipe
Lens cloth
Pill fob with pills in
First aid kit
£5 in change
£25
Spare debit card with £40 on it
Mini bic
Cpr face shield
Stamp
Hand wipes
2ft of paracord
Most importantly, a condom.
I wouldn't get all of that in an altoids tin
grouch314 very smart, i am impressed
Great review! Thanks.
Thanks Sootch!
Thanks for filming
Keep up the good work old man....
Love the G36, thats what I have as well.
Maxpedition micro probably best for urban edc. A Canadian company, very well built.
Gotta get some of those!
Does anyone have advice on how they actually carry these? Because it doesn't seem realistic to carry a massive pouch on my belt everyday.
love your videos grandpa,
Thank you for the video.
+Richard Maunder Thanks for watching~
Ordered Maxpedition E.D.C. Pocket Organizer i hope will be great
Very helpful! Thanks!
That I7r eos is impossible to find I love the way it works but can't find one anywhere.
May I ask who makes the fire starter that is in the video? It doesn't seem to be available at Going Gear
CJ Thee did you ever find out?
At first, I thought this guy was out to lunch with these multiple EDC's and preparation backpacks. I had thought to myself that nothing is ever going to happen that would require this much concerted effort. However, after seeing reports earlier this year that hackers used malware to cause a utility outage in the Ukraine, it woke me up to the real possibility that the United States is susceptible to something similar. Future terrorist attacks may not be a plane flying into buildings or a bomb made from fertilizer to blow up a building in Oklahoma City. What would I do if hackers from a group destined on destroying the USA took it upon themselves to created a utility outage? Well, when I researched it, I found out that they already are trying....everyday....millions of times a day! So it no longer became a question of if they are successful, but when they are successful.
The energy company BP says it suffers 50,000 attempts of cyberintrusion a day. The Pentagon reports getting 10 million attempts a day. The National Nuclear Security Administration, an arm of the Energy Department, also records 10 million hacks a day. The state of Utah alone says it faces 20 million attempts a day, up from 1 million a day two years ago. These are crazy numbers!!
As I researched further I reminded myself that not only are cyber threats a reality, but so is the deteriorating condition of our infrastructure in the United States. Remember that Northeast blackout of 2003? Almost the entire state of New York lost power. Affected areas lost water pressure because pumps lacked power. All trains running into and out of New York City were shut down. Many gas stations were unable to pump fuel due to lack of electricity. Many oil refineries on the East Coast of the United States shut down as a result of the blackout. Communications (cell service/cable tv) well outside the immediate area of power outage were affected. Large numbers of factories were closed in the affected area. Imagine if this happened for days or weeks or months. You couldn't keep food cold, you couldn't cook, you wouldn't have potable water. What happens when people rely solely on these things being provided to them? People get thirsty, they get hungry and they will do whatever it takes to feed themselves and their families. Things would go from bad to worse, in a New York minute.
Moral of the story, I was like many people who watch these videos that I assume see it as a novelty and possibly don't partake in the effort to prepare for something like what happened in New York or the Ukraine. But, when that day comes and you've done nothing, you may not think you will do unspeakable things to get what you need, but you will. So take the burden off of yourself and your family to rely on others to take care of you. Take it upon yourself to rely on yourself for sustainability in the event of catastrophe.
Sootch, thanks for all of the great reviews. As a carry option, would the Glock 43 fit into any of these? Thanks in advance if you have time to answer.
Great video.
Great video.. I'm lookin into gettin a nice size organizer pouch of course from Maxpedition since I have a Kodiak S-Type Gear Slinger & was wanting to fit an organizer on the side of the bag & I believe U also have the same bag & seem to have alot if not most of the organizers as well. So with that said which Maxpedition Organizer size would best fill the side of my Kodiak S-Type? I don't want to get one too small & have it look odd? Thnx in advanced.
Amazon sells these, yes!
can you please do a couple minute review on that Gerber knife sharpener thanks
Free up that loop in your mini where your aaa battery is by carrying it in the tag loop at the top left (inside front) - fits perfectly...
great video 👍
Great job, good information for edc organizing. I cannot find the mini pouch on the maxpedition website. Can you give me the number or code?
Oh woah I didn’t know you had a second channel. I stumbled into this!
I used to EDC a Maxpedition Mini for a while. I've recently switched to the more "open faced" style, as I find it less bulky and easier to access. Check out Hitch And Timber, and Arc Company
Keep up good work I have seen all your videos on both channels. How about some videos on survival skills?
They should collab with some companies and do first aid kits with these. That's something I would buy.
Hey Sootch. What is the steel/grind/scales on that Maxpedition knife? How do you like it? Love your videos!
You gave one of your buddies a chubby?!?! LMAO! Great reviews as always
I like the keysmart rugged.
nice vid! what do you think about the magnet on the flashlight by your phone? and what is your opinion on rechargeable flashlights?
Have you done a review on Maxpedition Beefy pouch? Looks like the size for me. Currently using heavy plastic containers from walmart. They work but afraid they will break. Thanks
do a review on the gryfalcon from maxpedition please, their are no reviews on youtube for it.
I Love To Have The Maxpedition Wallet, Small Pouch Organizer, Sling Bag, And Waist Butt Shoulder Bag.
I have an extremely excessive EDC pack compared to most people lol... I utilize the Maxpedition Fatty for my cargo pocked and find it fits most of my pants/shorts. I plan to buy a smaller one for other pants/shorts that have the smaller cargo pocket. In essence it's a EDC/Urban survival kit.
Anyone interested in a video of it?
I've only had one Maxpedition and I returned it because I just couldn't fit much of anything in it. It was advertised as an inch thick, but I couldn't squeeze in even two Altoid's tins. They certainly are "durable" but I found them to be unusable. The purpose of having a pouch is to put stuff in it--but I couldn't really put anything in it. There was actually more room if I turned it inside out (with the zipper handles on the inside). I'd like to see Maxpedition go back to the drawing board because it's clearly durable design, I just would like to see it become usable.
I get a big charge out of your videos for the contents.
Which size do you find you get more use from, the micro or the mini?
This is very good bags.
Hello Sootch. What is the name of the fire steel? I can't find it in the going gear website.
Any help from anyone naming that fire steel would be much appreciated.
looked like Light my fire
#SensiblePrepper Does Olight still make that EOS with the magnetic attachment that you had in the skinny? I haven't seen that anywhere and that would really good to put in a backpack.
I love your vids soooo much😍😍😍
I use the Micro for my EDC. The Maxpedition label on the inside is a great place to keep a AAA Battery. Love your videos. Keep it up.
Question about those lighters. I have tried out a few peanut lighters over the years and the fuel seems to evaporate out over time. Have you experienced this with those lighters from going gear? How often are you refilling one?
Hows that KeySmart working out vs the KeyBar?
what's the firesteel called in the middle pack before the wingman multtool
I can't seem to find that precise fire starter on Going Gear?
can anyone tell me if a spyderco para 3 will fit on the rightside straps (large strap)?
Nice video. I'm trying to find the best bags/carriers to put an edc/get home bag together.
Joseph Holmberg check out Skinth edc sheaths. Way better than maxpedition in that they’re small but brilliantly designed and made and hold a crap load of the important stuff. Especially the XL & magnum. These maxpedition are better for throwing in a backpack where the skinth comfortably fit on your belt or will also hook on a backpack.
excelent!
Do you know the model number on that 3 piece fire striker that you had in the Mini Organizer. Was on Goinggear and was not able to find it...thanks
Nice !
Ooooo i want one also.
Like I say, I never get tire of watching your reviews and especially on maxpedition gear.......did you took some kind of speech class or acting class?
