Brasil had poor floor defense, they are good attackers but defense was their waterloo.Argentinas blocking was on timing and on point..
Usually brazil can play defense very well, but in the olympics we shook. Thales and wallace specially were playing very poorly. Bruno gave his all, but not his best. Leal was not great all the way, with only some good moments, specially agaist usa. Lucas and lucarelli were very good, the best players in the olympics for brazil, hands down. Mauricio got stuffed a lot. On the bench, Alan only entered on the worst moments, and left without being able to make any change, and Douglas should be on Leals place. He entered on bad moments, but left his mark. So, basically, with all these bad performances, we could not get anything better than 4th. I actually would ratter see japan beating brazil and getting 4th instead of the disapointment that was bra x rus.
