Bio: Wajahat S. Khan is an Emmy-nominated journalist and author reporting on Indo-Pacific security and focusing on the Af-Pak conflict. An Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Center of Global Affairs and non-resident Senior Fellow at Washington’s Atlantic Council, Khan is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism and the University of Michigan, as well as Pakistan’s only Shorenstein Fellow for Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He has reported from 16 countries covering conflict, diplomacy, and media for digital, cable and network news. صابر شاکر صاحب نے جو رجیم چینج کے حوالے سے عوامل بتائے مجھے اس سے اختلاف ہے۔
خلاصہ یہ ہے کہ باجوہ نے نواز زرداری کو اپنے نیب کیسزوغیرہ کے حوالے سے بلیک میل کرکے ان سے اربوں روپے لئے۔ باہر پراپرٹیز بنوائیں۔ باجوہ کو اندازہ تھا کہ ان کی مزید ایکسٹینشن ہوگی مگر جب ناامید ہوا تو ان کے پاس وقت کی شدید کمی کے باعث جلدی میں پی ٹی آئ کے لوٹوں کو اور مولانا سمیت دونوں پارٹیوں کو ملایا ۔ سائفر کا ڈرامہ رچایا۔ عمران کی حکومت گرا کر چوں چوں کا مربہ بنایا ۔ این آر او 2 دے کر چوروں ڈکیتوں کے سارے کیسز ختم کئے۔ مگر ان کی سوچ کے برخلاف عمران خان کی مقبولیت بڑھی تو باجوہ کو اپنے کئے ہوئے جرائم کی پڑ گئی۔ اب انہوں نے سوچ سمجھ کر ایسے بندے کو آرمی چیف بنوایا جس کا چانس ہی نہیں تھا۔ اس کو بتایا کہ دیکھو تمھارا چانس چیف بننے کا نہیں مگر ہم تمھیں بنا رہے ہیں بدلے میں تم نے یہ یہ کرنا ہے۔
باقی تو آپ سمجھ گئے ہونگے کہ جس بندے نے یقینا مرنا ہو اور اس سے کہا جائے کہ میں تمھیں زندگی دوں گا مگر یہ یہ کام کرنے ہیں تو اس نے سارے جائز ناجائز کام کر دینے ہیں۔ اور ان ناجائز کاموں کی وجہ سے وہ خود اتنا دھنس جاتا ہے کہ پھر اس نے اپنے بچاؤ کیلئے بھی ہت سارے ناجائز کام کرنے ہیں۔

It's great watching you four discussing so many important things and enlightening us on many situations. I suggest to place a question in next program that what a normal Pakistani citizen living in Pakistan can do in this situation. As per Dr. Moeed there's nothing that we can do!! May be he is right a common man cannot even carry a PTI flag, but still an educated well informed citizen is wondering that he is living in a land without rule of law, even this make us afraid for our children, our survival. I sometimes fear that if next day my neighbor comes with a gun and ask me to evacuate my house, I have no system of justice existing.. I mean what if he is a friend of some powerful person.. Now this situation is creating sense of loss, sense of insecurity.. It was not so just 2 years back.. Although Everything was never right there were many incidents of law breaking but sense of hope was not gone.
But if one wants to feel better and contribute towards right direction, what exactly one can do while he has to live in Pakistan, he has to survive here, my question to all of you. Regards.

This really is a good programme. Getting different comments on Pakistan's situation is great. I agree with the last comment by Wajahat bhai that being a normal Pakistani voter I've done my duty and please let us know what we can do for the betterment of Pakistan.
