i been enjoying your knownledge i like the one you said to just build cart with bigger tires to use -3 instead of +3 on the tires i didnt know thats how you buy the tires to put bigger tires on a cart not jacked up so high to get the ride of a bigger tire with out having to climb up in the cart
Lol I love how you skip the hardest parts, drilling out the rivets and hidden rivets under the side skirts and unbolting the 3 bolts on each leaf spring by the pedals. Easily the hardest shit to do and you bypass it.
When it comes to the long bolts that run through the risers in the rear assembly, why run them from the ground up? Manufacturer shows them running from the top down.
Dear DIY Golf Cart, first off well done on this channel, It is very informative and well scripted. I am performing a hail Mary here to see if you can help me. i bought an EZGO J499 36V electric. When i first purchased it, All was well and she drove like a dream, I then went ahead and made some changes to the body (spray) added some lights ) Any way i now drive the cart and when ever she goes up a hill she really slows down to a halt. I have checked her batteries and the tech has confirmed they are 100 % , I replaced the controller with no change. Do you or perhaps any of your followers have an idea as i have seen many people online struggling with this but no response.
I have a K501, which when i called EZGO customer service, said that i have a 2001 made in May. Do you know id this kit will fit? I can't see any difference i my cart compared to yours in this video. 👍

Hi I just picked up an 07 txt 36v and was wanting to do a lift. Was wondering what you thought was better a drop axle or drop spindle? Don't think I need the long travel kit. Soo many types to chose from. Thanks
I have a 98 TXT and want to install the Jake's 6" Spindle Lift Kit. I don't see any videos on the 94-01.5 6" Spindle kit for my model electric TXT. Is there a significant difference in the installation for the earlier models and the later model TXTs?
The Rear portion of the lift will be mostly the same. Relocating the leaf springs to the top side of the rear axle. The Front portion of a Spindle Lift Kit is super easy. I will be installing a spindle lift on a TXT soon so keep an eye out but, for now...the spindle lift kit, all you have to do is remove old spindle and slide the new spindle in! It's really that simple. If you have any more questions, give us a call here at DIY Golf Cart.
+Barton Boma The title is kinda incorrect. We were planning on them being episodes utilizing Papa's Tree Climber Golf Cart. This should be the complete video installing a Long Travel Lift Kit.

I'm getting ready to install a Jake's drop axle on a 2000 TXT. Do you have an install video?
How many inches of lift does the kit give you over stock (not including tires)
Great video. Thanks. But what good is LT front when you have 2” in rear??? Why no rear LT installs?
I do apologize but, rear LT? This is a Jake's Long Travel Lift Kit as they designed it. 2" is the rear?
Hello. What’s the shocks model? Thanks.
Is there an equivalent kit available for a 1999 model year?
Part number 6214 (Electric) or 6210 (Gas)
I have a 1990 club car ds with I 4 inch jake’s lift. I was wondering how to make it ride better.
There are a lot of things that come into play a concerning the ride comfort. Heavy duty spring? Worn out OEM springs? Bad shocks? Over inflated tires?
Any way i can mount this on a 2007 txt?

Unless the front axle is rusted real bad, I'd go with the Spindle Lift. Easy to install and gives great ground clearance.

Howdy, is it required to remove the body to install this long arm kit ? Thanks
No, I already had the body off, so I did the video for the lift kit.
DIY Golf Cart Thank you for the videos and reply. Very helpful.
Anyone know if this lift kit will work on current TXT's or is this kit only valid up to a certain year?
Did you ever find an answer?
cant seem to find part 1, do you have a link?
