I went back 2 years in ma history to find this song 🤦🏽♂️ man it was killing me y'all ever think of a song u can picture it in yo mind but can't remember name of song or artist 😂
This just happened to me hahaha i was listening to this months ago on a Google Play station and it got removed from the station before I could save it to my phone. Literally just remembered it while I was in the bathroom and vaguely remembered a lyric and managed to find it on Google 😂
I'm starting to think if J.Cole actually does retire somebody's going to gun for his spot right away. This is the second time I feature an artist who has an uncanny resemblance to the Fayetteville rapper. BTW that's definitely not a bad thing. I would be very humbled to be compared to an artist like Cole. Look forward to hearing more from this guy. Great song by a great artist.
personally as an artist i dont like being compared to other artists because it makes me feel like im not original and i have to change something about my style so i can stand out
Beatles, Elvis, Jackson were all new. You look at Skrillex and you can see a lot of his success was he was a new sound. I remember people being like "The fuck is dubstep." I am not saying you have to be a fan of their music but they were different and it worked to new levels.
I feel like I’ve been known about this song since like high school and it’s so cool to come here and see people appreciate it throughout the years as much as I have
This songs hits hard, in the feels phew love the whole thing. The sax was a classic but extremely pleasant addition and had just perfect speed/tempo to it.
what the heck why is this like the best thing i have ever heard and i'm only just hearing it this year????? I hope Jalen Santoy knows he made a masterpiece and can feel proud of that.
I've been searching for this song for so long, but I thought it was J.Cole. So I went through the whole of J.Coles discography, still no song. Then I started searching all through the innanet, only to land on Reddit and see someone looking for the J.Cole song with a sax sample. I followed the whole thread and clicked every link, and it wasn't the one. Then the author of the post updated it a year later, stating that he found the song and it wasn't J.Cole but it was this song. And now I'm here. And I'm really glad to be here.
You know when you find a song that just hits different than any other, and it immediately puts you in a state of emption that you never even knew existed? That's this song. I wish I had a playlist full of songs like this
I wonder how many people thought this was one of Jcoles songs. I was one of ‘em thinking “I thought I listened to every single Jvole song that was out there how did I miss this one.” I WAS BAMBOOZLED!
my jazz ensemble class is doing the original and I keep trying to tell everyone abt this version! I had to go on reddit to get the name with my half-arse lyrics. I'm so happy I found it.
I was watching a twitch streamer and he started humming a tune and im 80% sure it was this. Couldn't remember the name or nothing. I just scrolled for 20 mins in my playlist till I finally found it. Such a gem ❤
Homies like my brother Mac miller are amazing because I just randomly get shown by youtube this vid I've never seen before AT THE PERFECT TIME in my entire 32 years and he just spoke to me on a WHOLE other level. CHEERS TO KING MILLER AND HIS ETERNAL SOUND!!! ❤ YOUR HERE ALWAYS WITH US

i heard this song on someone’s rant video so i looked it up and i legit thought it was J. Cole. even the lyrics reminded me of something he would rap about a couple years ago.
Still waiting for everyone to stop sleeping on this dude. Remember banging this song in my car when cole came out with the Everybody dies single. People always think this is J Cole. Sounds like Early Cole. But this dude got his own style and is definitely on the right path
