  • Join me on my wild adventure through the Bighorn Mountains in the 2024 Bighorn 100. Despite my best efforts, I faced another DNF, but the journey was filled with unforgettable moments, stunning scenery, and incredible support from my crew. From the fantastic start and challenging climbs to tummy troubles, this race offered it all. Watch as I share my highs, lows, and everything in between, and find out what it takes to tackle one of the toughest ultra marathons out there.

Registration for Bighorn Trail Race is October 15. I'll be there in 2025.
Do you have any experience with Runners' Lean? Any advice? Leave it in the comments.

Gah, revenge is needed! So frustrating that after all of the work is put in, these weird hiccups can ruin the whole damn thing. You have all the pieces to the Bighorn puzzle, time to put that sucker together! I can't go next year, but am tentatively planning on a revenge tour in '26.

I'm proud of you for even attempting this. I've been having stomach issues this year from running in the heat and drinking water. For some reason, my body doesn't want straight water when I exert myself in the heat. I hope you figure out that lean. Sorry you DNFd but happy you had a nice time and were surrounded by friends.

You rule Todd. I would love to run out there but no way would I be going for 100 miles. I think it looked like you had a great experience till you didn't. I think you could try it again if you wanted to but I also don't think it defines you if you don't.

It was great meeting you out on the trail. I too plan on a redemption race there in a few years. Keep making great films!

My knowledge of the lean issue has to do with muscle imbalance in the core and pelvic area. As the weak muscle fatigues you are pulled down. Strength training will help and should be at least two days a week in your routine. Get a PT and they can help cure that.
