    Hey what's going on man, nice fish you and your boy caught, I've been going up for the last 10 years or so with a buddy of mine and we always do pretty well on the Salmon River but one thing we want to do is fish those back little Creeks just like you did in this video, without giving away your favorite honey holes LOL it would be awesome for a private message and maybe you could drop a few tips on where you fish at, we are going up beginning of first week October..

    • @jagfishing836
      @jagfishing836 Год назад

      Thank you i appreciate. Unfortunately every other comment on my videos is people asking me where im fishing but i dont spot burn, no offense. My recommendation is very simple. Google maps! And as far as "honey holes" there are spots that may be better than other but keeping in mind that a king salmon can potentially run the 17 mile stretch in 48 hours and cohos can do that in half the time, a place loaded with fish today may be bone dry tomorrow and vice versa. The key is to move around. And if you're gonna fish october when theres thousands running the river...... any spot is a good spot lol. Best of luck to you. Tight lines!

    • @jagfishing836

      Id say the lowest part of the river that you can. I personally believe you will have more luck getting a steelie or brown on eggs rather than a king. Once they start moving up they stop feeding and will inly strike out of aggression. I dont really use them so honestly not the person to ask lol
