Still watching your videos in June 2024. I am really finding alot of interest in nitro these days but not having a close friend that wants to help is making it tough. But I love seeing g all the different options and different values and cost. I got a gs rqcing r21 pbx2 and it was very cheap 3 needle carb 7 port offroad race engine. With the pipe it was 150!!! Your videos help alot of us still, and you are missed, man! RIP, Mr. Welch! 🙏
What do you need help with? Any chance you live near Huntsville, Alabama and want to run laps with my group of friends? Got a number of nitro heads that’d love to help.
I also won a few races with a RTR Go back in the day and a RTR Himoto buggy. There's something special about doing well with cheaper gear - really speaks for your driving skills.
Absolutely. There is always that guy at the track who has all the gear and no talent. And the guy who is still rocking the hyper 7 or losi 8ight rtr that rocks it, because he can't get better gear, but his driving is on point.
@@LawrenceTimme I see people who are really into getting the perfect setup but in my mind the most important things (until you get to higher driver skill classes) are practice, tire choice, and doing the kind of maintenance that prevents DNFs such as making sure no screws are loose, replacing clutch bearings, etc. That, and keeping your cool. If you don't have those things down it doesn't matter how fancy your car is or how good your setup is.
Ofna made one years back now you could find one at 200usd used so I made my own starter box for a revo I just got an old bump box made the box and cutted and bolted everything together
@@TheRwmods the 21- 3 port.all is the same as yours but not the sleeve.the sleeve definitely is from the evo series.can i find some parts here in greece? because are they engines for hardworking times and lasts many litres.my last 21a5 ends up to 50 litres and broke from my mistake.thanks for you time. cheers from greece

@@afrewer94 yes indeed.
Yes looks the same as the engine in my JQ RTR was really impressed by it I bought another Alpha 21 Rtr for my HB D819
I had the chance to buy an Alpha new in box...and I stayed away. This review makes me want to buy one.
You wont be disappointed. They are well made and run good. Price is nice too.
Good review as always. Good to see the Alpha stuff getting some love. I just got your tools and they are awsome. Thank you for these videos.
As always, enjoyed the review. Keep a lookout for an SH .21 today. Like I said in my email, I sent it earlier this week. 👍
Cool. Would like to see a review on a SH. Had a handfull of these SH over the years. XTM .247 ftw. That thing was a beast.
❤🎉😮😊
Not related to the video but would you be able to tell where I can find a bump box that can work with the revo 3.3?

Any update on the speed-run car?
Snow just melted here, I think I have too many projects also.

Are *_you_* drunk? Everything the late Rex said here made perfect sense. Meanwhile, your channel provides nothing.
