- Visited in September 1998, 3 years to the day!!! Not been uploaded until now. Amazing building and incredible views, along with happy / sad memories since. Peace to all affected by those events.
Sorry for the buzzing sound when up the top, the radio mast interfered with my camera, along with the fact I had only had the camera for a day so wasn't aware of lens cleaning duties or that I should zoom a lot less in the future!
Still can't get over how 200 people took the brave decision to jump from floors just below this. Just shows how tall these buildings really were.
Very sharp quality for 1998... Even sharper than the quality in most phone-recordings from the 00's.
Thanks, it was filmed on an early DV camcorder that I’d brought the previous day on Broadway, it had just come out! This upload is direct from the original 17gb capture file so has only been re-coded by RUclips when uploaded. Agreed phone cameras took 10yrs to catch up quality wise!
@@gigteevee6118 it looks like something from 2005 or 08 mostly due to the fact its digital video, so used to see VHS or hi8 footage

@@TEEDUBS You misunderstood my comment. My point is there's a lot of VHS home movie recordings that are even worse than flip-phone recordings. But for 1998, this particular video is exceptionally very good.
I could reference plenty of VHS recordings that are abysmal and almost unwatchable.
And there's also the fact that VHS videos are often uploaded in 240p or even 144p.

It is interesting to think that twin towers were built on very strong structures. If the ships hit the upper floors of the building, it would be understandable if that part collapsed due to the fire and flames, but both buildings collapsed like old buildings. It seems that the United States wanted the same thing. Iraq became a justification for attacking Afghanistan
