Just wanna say this is very impressive! The way you switched your play style and were aware of which options to use more sparingly is incredible. Well done man 👏.
I enjoyed this video and now I realized just how interesting ditto matches really are, you know everything your opponent can do you just don't know how they will use them usually requiring more careful playing.
I relate to the “top player pressure” thing. I got clipped by Marss’s Ganondorf bc I was panic playing.
That was amazing dude! Regardless if he was absolutely tryharding on you or not, getting a few games off of a top player, and the best Bowser in the world at that, is no small feat. Next up, Ned, who I assume is the best Sephiroth in the world rn, although I would argue that Nairo might be better.

I just love how leon seems to feel no pressure no matter how far into a match or how far behind he might be. I strive to be that level headed in the middle of a bad match.
Man as someone who isn't fully into the game your skills and improvements are insane. Your immense adaptation and mentality just made me think that you're unnatural for someone who doesn't play this game that seriously. I sometimes wonder how people do those, or maybe what makes them so fast. Either way it's great to see you improving and overcoming your inner fears. You truly have what it needs to become a high level player.

Yo Phy I’ve recently learned a lot from how you play and just the way you use bowser. I’ve been watching this channel for over a year and remember the first time you went against leon. It’s been an honor learning from you and applying them to tournaments and getting pretty good results! I would definitely love to run some friendlies/ dittos with you!
This type of content actually helps me become a better player without playing even though I don't really play Sephiroth or Bowser. Once you get good at the game, it's all about mindset. A observant player can go up against even the best players as long as they have the knowledge to counter their opponent's character.
I love how we all try our best and hardest when playing leon and hes just playing like we're his toys
Phy, I think I can safely say that you're ready to go up against the best of the best now, your improvement these past couple of years has been exponential, wouldn't be surprised to see you winning tournaments, imagine a first to 10 against Ned with a Sephiroth ditto

Update from last time: I did a few 1v1s with my friend yesterday, and played Aegis most games with our final deciding match being our mains (Byleth for me and Sephiroth for him) on local communication. I won the first two matches as Aegis, lost the game after and then we had our final match and I went Byleth. It was kinda dominant, but I could have played better our final match (first three were just games I played as Aegis for fun as I don’t have their pack).

Dark thunder is the best Bowser now
This is like a wake up for a lot of players who are interested in competing i feel. Also kind of proves elite smash is fraudulent as hell. The real competition is outside. With hard work we can learn that these amazing pros can be beat, and it feels good to draw blood, but no matter how good we are, playing them kind of humbles us and instills a sense of reality, making u question just how much work they had to put in to get this good at the game. When you commit to this and steel your nerves you learn just what u can accomplish.

I'm trying to improve my bowser and I feel like I have great potential, I just always forget simple things like using side b when I'm next to them instead of going for some crazy combo I'm probably not gonna hit. Any general tips anyone would like to give would be greatly appriciated.

Leon missed a ton of grabs while going for neutral air. Phy just tried to shield on platforms. I’ve found maiming bowser when you jumó people auto shield on platform so you get so many grabs that way, it really messes with them

Ur crazy on it lol, but with seph u probs don't wanna use dair on stage as a wake up or a way to get down as u did the first game as it has a lot of end lag and bowser has the command grab. Also u said don't over commit when Ur in advantage but then immediately counter when he was high in the air. Just some things I picked up
I think everytime I used Dair in that game it worked lol, but generally yeah It’s not a landing option one should always go for.
