Did you know that goats milk is a great pre and probiotic and is great for us and pets for gut health. I give to my animals once a week. Just telling you what I am learning everything holistic. Especially after an antibiotic bc it helps restore that in the gut. But great for good health.

I was having problems with a digestion issue flare. The doctor asked about stress. I said yes I need a vacation...he said what ever you do don't take a vacation. People don't realize how stressful vacations are to your body. Just take some down time! Take care! We love you all!
It depends on what kind of vacation you want to take. The best ones are where you have a destination & no plans when you get there. Do what you want when you want, or feel good enough to do them. Most of the time it's more important to get away from those 4 walls where your "to do" list stares you in the face when your not able to do anything.
So I greatly disagree with your doctor!
Yes vacations can be stressful, but I think being stuck at home everyday all day can be equally stressful. We all need a chance to get away from it all sometimes and as long as we know it may tire us out a bit more then usual.

So glad you’re feeling better. That was exciting to watch the milking process and freeze drying the goat’s milk. Those mason jars are awesome. Can the powdered milk be festered to liquid milk by adding water. That would be great to use for recipes. So nutritious 😍❤️😍

I would love to see you freeze dry bananas, plums, orange slices, apple slices, cantelope, Kiwi, just all fruits and vegs. I a was recently diagnosed with diabetes and struggle with snack ideas.

My hubby is diabetic & has been for 35 years. He's found his best snack is meat & cheese. He also likes my egg salad for a lite sandwich. He uses low carb bread. His favorite is made by Aunt Millie's. I only use real mayonnaise & mustard in my egg salad. Both are zero carb. Hard boiled eggs are also good. Basically He eats low carb, high protein.

Brooke, try slicing sweet potatoes fairly thin and freeze dry for dog treats.
not a small dog person but I do love little DeeDee, she is such a sweetheart, all your dogs are such a joy and in such a better place
Tip! Try a metal putty knife to scrape down the trays after freeze drying liquids.
Or a plastic scraper. Would a flour sifter help separate the dried milk? Turned out great!
The trays are aluminum so a metal scraper would be no bueno. Plastic scrapers much better. Good thoughts though.
I love you guys! My guess is Deedee had an elderly owner that passed & was dumped . She is living her best life in her elderly yrs. God bless you for gifting her with a new loving home.

Brooke .. You are a rock star. You are an inspiration to so many women. I have Fibromylagia... it's a day-to-day type of pain. Most days it's constant. I have to decide what I can and can't do that day. If I do too much... oh Lord ... I pay the price. I push thru.

I’d say leaving your mom sick, leaving the animals and farm, nerves of flying, we’re all combined stress on you ! But flair ups will probably happen also ! Your body can only handle so much ! The babies are getting so big .. and it doesn’t seem like DeDe has been there over a year .. she is definitely a blessing and she was blessed to have found you !! I hope the freeze dried goat milk works out ! Keep up the experimental process of different things !!

Brooke, have you thought about another chicken wagon? You could put it over in the pasture with M&M or the baby goat pasture (if that would work). That way you could provide more eggs to your stand .
Great idea, although I do not know that I would ever find another and Jason had to do a lot of work to get it to the state that it could work for chickens.

Sò glad you are feeling better. Just because vacations are fun, doesn't mean they don't put stress on you. I have a condition that flares for both stress and eustress (positive stress that comes from upcoming holidays, vacation, travel, family coming to visit, etc, etc) I now just expect it during these types of instances and use more of my "rescue" medication in preparation for and recovery from. Stay positive, that always helps! ❤

The radio is a great idea Brooke. It always helps my dog when I’m gone and I leave some music playing. Awesome idea to freeze dry the goat milk. It will be interesting to see if Miss Laura can use it in her products. I have bought products from her online, absolutely love, her goat, milk, lotion.
I was wondering how long it would take you to find the G&G sticker. Catherine left her mark. Very funny. The freeze dried milk is a great idea. The extra dry time is to eliminate the milk sticking to the tray. If it is not totally dry it is going to mold.

I would put a clean plate down to lay your suction equipment on vs laying it on the ramp/floor. Just in case some germs get up in there. Love all your videos and so glad things are going well!
