In this video we compare the two most recent versions of an amazing line of performance basketball shoes from New Balance: the TWO WXY V2 vs TWO WXY V3.

V2 feels better than playing with V3. I kinda felt bad how uncomfortable my feet were with the v3. 😔

Just got my pair of the v2 and v3. Haven't played in them yet but im liking the v2 based on the materials, the fitment, and the design. V3 reminds me of the Kobe 5 (fav kobes). Cant wait to try them on the hardwood.

I have a dozen Lebrons, 5 types of Kyries, 4 styles of Kobe's, J31s 32s and 33s, several Hyperdunks, and years of Adidas shoes and the v2s are my favorite shoe I've ever played in.

V2 by a tiny bit, both average width I would say.

just ordered the v3 last night. Finally caught a size 10 in 2E wide! the wide sizes are always sold out but i got lucky this time!

The V2 has nothing in the forefoot :)) how can it lack responsiveness up front :)) ?? I don't have the v3 but the way you talk about them it sounds like they've but thinner insoles in the v3 than the v2 :))

@@TommyLiu4 just had them with me for the first game. No break in time is needed, just comfortable. I probably will throw away aj37, but also all Nike zoom airs.

Yes that’s a fair assessment. Also the V2 is more like immediate comfort while the V3 takes longer to break in - but both amazing shoes!
i like the v3 but the ankle protection on the v2 is pretty nice
Is the upper of the v3 breathable? It doesn’t seem to be… i love them but my feet are become sweaty easily so I don’t know if I should get them!
Yeah average breathability, and not as breathable as the V2 like I said. Not a dealbreaker at all though.
what about the width of the base? Like forefoot and beginning of mid foot area.. That's one of the things I've really liked about the NB basketball shoes(except the Kawhi 2's), They've had a real wide base to protect against ankle rolls. I've got the V2's and they have the proper amount of width
Not much difference there, both have decent space and not much tightness from my experience - I have slightly wider feet. If anything maybe the V2 has a tiny bit more room in the forefoot.
And I agree the V2 does prevent rolling your ankle really well. 😃
@@TommyLiu4 I don't mean the fit, the width of the base of the shoe with the outrigger etc. Like recent Curry's with there wide base but still a pretty normal to narrow fit
How does the size/fit compare to omni1s?
Slightly smaller fit. OMN1s I could go down a half size, these two are true to size.

You could, just that I haven’t used them outdoors so might not give you the best answer on that. If you do consider other options, shoes like the Air Max Impact and Dame Certified are much better.
