Asaf Avidan is a singer-songwriter from Israel. From 2006 to 2011, he was part of the group Asaf Avidan & the Mojos, independently releasing three studio albums. The Reckoning, their debut record, was certified Gold in Israel and became one of the best-selling independent albums in the country.
"Reckoning Song" is a song written by Israeli singer-songwriter Asaf Avidan and performed by Asaf Avidan and the Mojos. The original under this title is track number 5 on the band's 2008 album The Reckoning.

he is originally from Israel, the accent is an artistic choice he made... obviously if that was important to him , he'd become an expert at this too.

Great review, thank you! As an Israeli, I can say it does not sound like a Hebrew accent (which is a lot more staccato), but if you want to explore other cool Israeli voices, I recommend Yehudit Raviz or Sarit Hadad.

I'd love to see another reaction to Asaf Avidan. His song "Her lies" might be super interesting for a vocal coach. You will NOT believe how deep his voice can be!
Some of his delivery is reminiscent of early Bob Dylan's "It's Alright Ma(I'm Only Bleeding)"...
