Yes, if your phone battery dies, or if you fully reboot your Iphone in general, the jailbreak will no longer work. It's called an untethered jailbreak, it's hard to make it untethered cause of iOS security and stuff.

In the meanwhile you can try to force restart your iphone with the following steps: Step 1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Step 2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Step 3. Press and hold the Side button until the screen turn off then turn on again with an Apple log appears.
