Beautiful look and both palettes are so pretty! Thank you for this comparison! I have the Earthy and it's such a shame it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I've always wanted to try Cosmic Brushes but I guess I will have to try a different palette of theirs😂😊
It's VERY close. To be honest, it's very hard to tell the difference. Earthy covers the grungy tones Undergrowth has but Undergrowth has some stand out shimmers ✨
I found the mattes in Earthy to be smoother but, while drier, the mattes in Undergrowth did still perform really well. RRP for Earthy was £25 (42 shades) when it was available but I know I got mine for £15 in a sale. Undergrowth is £28 (20 shades). It's worth noting that Undergrowth contains duo and multi-chromes while Earthy doesn't. Plus, Undergrowth has Fireflies!
Love both eye looks! I have the large Earthy, Martine's Moula, and ND's Yucca, none of which I much use, so Undergrowth is a pass for me. Have to admit, Cosmic does have some of my favourite formulas, though.
While I mentioned I found the matte shadows in Cosmic Brushes to be drier, they still performed well and I really liked the formula. The price point is the cherry on top. I'm a sucker for green shadows, as I think they look good on my complexion, so I am always drawn to palettes with a high concentration of green (and purple and blue).
It's got lovely murky greens that I don't think you often come across. Most of the green palettes I compared it too, bar the grungier shades in Earthy, were far more vibrant 💚
I really like the MBM brushes. They fit how I like to do my makeup. The eye brushes get really small so you can be detailed if you want to be (includes larger brushes too). I just tend to reach for smaller eye brushes no matter what I'm doing. The face brushes are dense while staying soft. I find some face brushes are so overly soft it can be hard to build up pigment - specifically thinking of blush. Nice if you want to go in slow but I'm more on the heavy handed side! 😂 I bought the latest Cosmic Brushes brush set and the quality was lovely but didn't fit my personal application preference so I returned them (eye brushes a bit on the larger side and face brushes lacking the density I like).
I love watching your videos, Jem!💕🏆 I feel like they could have done better with the lighter matte shades don't appear rich enough on either eye..the darker and more foiled they were the better, imo...maybe they're just harder to formulate?? Love you Dear!💕
Thank you so much Claire. I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos 😊 I wonder if the lighter colours look like that because the lighting washed them out a bit as I think they performed well in person. Lighter shades like that can be tricky on deeper skin tones but I would say the shadows in both palettes did well.
Hahah I knew it was a beauty bay palette but I couldn’t remember the name. I liked the Cosmic Brushes eye better because the shades looked smoother and more melted into the skin so looks like I may like Cosmic Brushes formula more. I haven’t tried Beauty Bay but maybe one of these days
For the price BB does their palettes, I don't know how they manage to have such a good formula. £25 for 42 shades is unreal, plus there is the fact there is always some kind of sale or bundle you can take advantage of. CB may be £28 for 20 shades, but their formula is up there, and they had special shades in them. I know that Muse from CB is only £18 as it has no special shades. It does have shimmers though.
I guessed Earthy!! I have that one, too. And I adore it! I’m a green palette addict!!!
I LOVE green eyeshadow. I can't seem to stay away from greens, purples and blues 💚💜💙

@@TheBuffetWitch Thank you! 😊 What kind of colour stories do you like? I've used Cooltrals and Nudetrals quite a lot and I highly recommend them.
@@just_jem1 I really like their blue and purple color stories.
i KNEW IT WOULD BE BEAUTY BAY!! 🤣 their palettes are so good
Beauty Bay put out some incredible palettes at an equally incredible price!
I like both lids. I can’t pick a fave. You created just sheer beauty. As you are sheer beauty!!😘

Hi Jem, catching up on videos today. Both are stunning looks.
Dang it....i said the Wilderness Palette!! Wow
I think this is the beauty bay one I thought it was too but I couldn’t remember the name
Wilderness was a good guess to be fair! I don't actually have that one.
Thank you❤

I was not that tempted to buy Undergrowth when I first saw it, and I still feel that way. What do you think about the brushes from Mmmitchel? 💕

ASMR rain!! Bolt of lightning, roll of thunder?
I just got this palette and have yet to use it but my plan is to use it soon!!! I’m excited to hear what you think. 💚💚
You'll have to let me know your thoughts once you get round to trying it 😃
Beauty bay.?.
Ah, but you didn't guess which one! 😂
Is cosmic right?
🥳
