    Well, may you have noticed that sports like rowing, swimming, kanouing,.. are not just called 'endourence-sports' but 'strength-endurance-sports'. You don't think that rowers at least on competitive levels aren't have to be strong and also lift significant amounts of weights, are'nt you??
