Your place is really looking great. The comparison to how it was just a couple of weeks ago is night and day. You've done an incredible job decorating. That fireplace looks amazing. Very well done. Not sure if it's popular in your home country but in N. America it looks like it just needs a stocking to complete the look. I also wanted to congratulate you on finally making you own normal bread. I can only imagine the frustration you must have felt since you arrived in China. Just wanted to say that it looks like you may have not kneaded your bread for long enough. You should be kneading for several minutes to create the gluten structure. Look up the "Window pane test" for bread doughs as an indication to when the dough has been kneaded long enough. You can cut down a bit on the kneading by doing a second rise. Either way, you should not see any pockets of flour in the dough. Good luck and have a very happy holidays.
Awww, thank you 🥰 And I actually received today the stockings I ordered, so they will definitely go on! The recipe that I use for the bread said that it is one that does not need kneading, but I've tried making it 3 times already, and it's not up to my standard, so I think I will look for another recipe.

The fermented dough, if steamed, is Chinese steamed buns, if baked, it is bread.
Uuuuuu, I might try making steamed buns one day, I never made them before
