I'm just surprised at how ambitious Manual Blast is. In terms of animated setpieces, you had- Crowds of random exes for Scorched's part Prowler appearing mid-Hog segment A custom gf design The glitched background for the part after the main drop The ending sequence with the world ending, with the screen being covered with illegal instruction messages as the screen pans out from a fried SEGA Genesis In terms of mechanics, you had- Illegal instruction notes that would permanently add illegal instruction messages to your screen, obscuring vision Hog attack (?) Now even with all of this, it'd have never even remotely held a candle in comparison to EXE's plans (particularly Godspeed Prelude), but damn, if that ain't a lot of work.
@@katilkoala5037 Basically an entirely different game leading up to Godspeed- BF would be killed by EXE, with his soul swept to the Black Sun. GF would then have to go to the Black Sun to save him, which would have then led to a segment where GF would have to traverse the corridors of the Black Sun to the tempo of the Godspeed Prelude song. This alone would've taken tons of programming, animation, audio design and storyboarding, particularly with stuff like the death animation where EXE would violently come after you and kill you.

It came from a Q&A that Revie did with 4chan folks, around May 3rd, if I remember correctly. No concepts for the actual thing were made, but Divide did draw some concept art for EXE's Godspeed form.
