Indeed she was, she was subsequently based at several other locations across South Wales, finally to the P&BR where she's now based. It may be some time, before you'll have the opportunity to see her working again.
Superb footage with another bit of history in the can Bob. Lovely weather for her final day. She looks and sounds very good so here's hoping they find no horrors during the overhaul. Hope you are keeping as well as possible. Take care - Chris
Thanks very much Chris, your kind comments are greatly appreciate, I don't do much these days due to a few issues, and I hope you are keeping well....Regards...Bob
I have had a few rides behind No.1. They keep it in excellent condition, I mean it looks like its only a couple of years after a boiler refresh not about to go into one ! 👍
Absolutely agree, like so many locos in this position, she's been kept in First Class condition by the P&BR, and the cost of doing this boiler work will be a large pull on resources...Thanks as always...Bob
Excellent video Bob. A legend. Loco that has been a great favourite, that will be missing. Brilliant on board footage. A lovely day out for both of you. Best wishes C&A
Thanks very much both, it was a cold and breezy day, and the weather improved just as we came back to Furnace at the end of the run. Rosyth looks so good as she always does, and it's sad to think she won't be operational for some time to come....Best wishes....Bob
It's always a big financial strain on a small Railway when this situation occurs, which unfortunately means it may well be many years before she returns to steam Dave.
Superb video our Bob...looked like you had a good time....Was that young Rees as the Guard ?? I think those carriages were the ones we had at Williton for repaint last year ??!?? Once again a cracking watch by the Master...best wishes...Steve.
Hello Steve, I'm afraid I don't use RUclips much now, so my apologies for not replying sooner..It wasn't Rhys on the train, and these are indeed the coaches that were superbly turned out at Williton.....Hope all is well. Best wishes...Bob
A Pembroke Dockyard engine once upon a time! I’m really sad I never got to see her in steam. Hopefully she can have an overhaul one day.

@@robmasterman Hopefully one day! I am hoping to recreate her in OO Gauge form for my model railway at some point :)
Thanks for the video Bob hope you had a great day riding Old Rosy and she sure sounds good.
Thanks Wayne, we did enjoy our visit, the staff and volunteers made us very welcome.

A locomotive legend in my eyes.
She's a wonderful little loco Jacob, and let's hope she's put back into service as soon as possible.
I was there as volunteer
That's wonderful, keep up the good work.
