Could Jesus Return This Year?

- As you have often heard me teach through the years, there is debate among Christians concerning the timing of the return of the Lord and the doctrine of the Rapture. In recent months we have seen the possibility of a regional war escalating in the Middle East, threats of the use of nuclear weapons, unprecedented floods, back-to-back hurricanes, predictions of another, possibly greater, pandemic, and calls for a one-world government and monetary system. These are the "signs of the times" that tell us that the rapture of the church is imminent.
In today's Bible study, I will cover these 3 questions of great consequence:
1. What does "imminency" mean?
2. What does "Maranatha" mean?
3. Could Jesus return this year?

I was abused as a child in every way possible, angry as and adult... I resorted to substances... ruined my life! Crazy how it almost turned out after being raised in a Christian home! Was never able to fill that void in my heart until I fully surrendered to the Lord! What a transformation he did in me! I stand today with only one addiction in my life.... JESUS! Jesus is coming soon! Very soon! ❤ I'm trying to reach everyone I can. He has given us His grace but His grace time will run out and it'll be too late! That's a scary thought! I've clung to Jesus Christ like glue, I don't understand how people deny Him! He saved me from a VER DARK TIME IN LIFE, Now I cannot imagine my life without Him ❤

@JoannaFerris-j9m thank you, sweetie! My testimony is actually much, much longer but I had to keep it short lol. Nevertheless, the Lord has transformed me so much that it's noticeable to those who knew me most! My mom claims I received a divine heart transplant lol, some don't like it because I no longer choose to hang around and contribute to the things and people in that dark lifestyle! God is too precious to me to live like I used to! God bless you ❤️

My dad died in a car accident when I was in my early 20's I am 72 now and know it was a traumatic time for me so my heart goes out to you! The one thing the Lord impressed on my heart at that time was that He does not make machines, I took that to mean the vehicles but also that we are not robots and can make choices .
I pray you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit and strengthened in His power within you.
Both of my only brothers were killed in separate auto accidents. I under the pain and the crying out. Be strong in draw close to the Lord.

I fully agree pastor. You explained it perfectly. I have many friends that argue about mid and post trib. I explain the doctrine of imminency to them. It is the next event in the church age. I can’t wait for his return. We love you Jesus!!!! Amen.

Thank you for your teaching, I live in Cape Coral Florida and just went through Hurricane Milton, praise God it was not like it was supposed to be, it hit shore in a different area, The wind was bad and we had a lot of tornadoes.. I kept praying along with many other people, I remember Jesus said peace be still to the storm I was reading the Bible and praying, speaking to the storm .. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
It’s not about what you do for God. It’s about what God has done for us ❤️. We don’t contribute nothing to our salvation but our submission to the authority of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Jesus took care of the sin problem with His death, "It is finished!" He got Adam's authority over the earth back from satan.
Jesus raised from death to prove to humanity that He paid for those "Wages of sin is death." so that we no longer need to bear that burden.
