I recommend using the Lightening cable (which Audeze will include at no extra charge) because the inline Doc/Amp really makes a difference and it also contains a DSP.
Actually far better than one can express with words. And far better than I expected it to be. Works great with CHORD DACs like HUGO and MOJO. I use it with a REGEN USB, Curious USB wire from Australia that separate the DC from the signal, Fidelia software w the iMac. Way superior to the LCD-X, which is quite good, just not in this class. From top to bottom, the i4 is like a coloring book done. The best of the others leave areas of color out. Like a crossword coloring book, the squares are filled in w the LCDi4 with color saturation, texture, volume of space and density. With the others, the squares are left blank. Nuts expensive, but nuts good too, and in this one case - a rare case - it is worth every penny. I would say, it exceeds a number of six figure conventional rigs I have heard and owned. Who says you can't take it with you?
I've had my i4s for a about a year now. The quality of the materials and durably is top tere. You don't have to worry about them banging against themselves. The black paint on the magnesium shell is very durable and made for the punishment of mobility. I bought them specifically for mobile use, otherwise I would have bought the full ear covering headphones.
@@AZAN-SHEIKHIt's designed by BMW design group and the materials and paint are high quality and super durable. Yes for the price it should be, but a lot of expensive things are often crap quality.
I don't really get the open back IEMs purpose! If you want to listen outside they do not isolate and if you wanna listen at home Headphones provide better sound because of bigger drivers.
Ali Arghavan I have a pair of UM ME.1 (open-back planers) and I use them at work. They give you an open-back full headphone experience in an IEM form factor and they don’t leak sound / disturb my co-workers. Don’t knock these until you hear them!
it gives the listener a real life experience. e.g. when you're at a jazz club, you hear the artist and the audience and you're not isolated from the environment. With traditional IEMs, you don't get all of that. You only hear the recording.
Ali Arghavan this product is for people who like the Audeze line of headphones but want something that's easier to take with them while traveling. It's a super niche product targeted at a very specific set of people
Just received them yesterday and all I can say is that they sound fabulous with a good amp/dac. Ran them through the Sony TA-ZH1ES and the OPPO UDP-205 both were really nice.
What would be the sound difference between this one to much cheaper isine 10? Also I was wondering what is the tonal difference between in ear planar to over ear planar for different driver size? Thanks a lot !
Hey buddy, great review as usual, For me, it’s a toss up between these and the shore KSE 1200 Electrostax Have you had an opportunity to listen to the shore? I’m honestly stuck between these 2, and seeing as we can’t audition them I’m trying to gather as much information as I can.
those thing is not a gimmick, I've tried the i4. Paired it with Oppo HA2 and connect it with Cypherlabs Trio TubeAmp the result is heaven, if those setup isn't enough try to change the cable to effect audio Mars. I was blown away how they can presented clarity and detail but yet very spacious, i know this is weird but the sensation is like watching melted gold being poured into a molded art. The soundstage is earth breaking yet really calming at the same time. There are some drawback's, if you try one of this any other iem will definitely sounds terrible including (dare i said) JH13V2 or JH16, i think there is two product that I've tried that can closely challenge the i4, the noble Katana and 64 Audio Tia Fourte.
Hi, thanks for the nice review. May I please ask, how do they actually compare to the Susvara or the Abyss? I know it is a bit of Apples v. Oranges, but still... Thanks.
Thanks to your recommendations, I am owning both w80 and lcdi4. What do you think is the gap or difference between these two? I feel w80 has better separation due to its multiple drives configuration, while lcdi4 has better timbre but has off response curve that needs to be rectified?
yes, these are the best I've used to-date. Second is the Westone W80, third is the Westone W60 then Sony XBA-Z5 and last AKG K3003 (non remote version, made in Austria). Hope that helps.
I'm currently using the westone w40 and have been looking to upgrade for some time now but I'm not ready for a jump like this. I'm very interested in the isine series as they're closer to what I can do right now. Would you be able to advise on which is a better upgrade isine 10 or 20 (is the 10 similar or better performing than the w40)? There isn't much of a price gap for quality that I've read or heard of but sometimes I like to enjoy to slow increases in qualities that help me learn every time I try a new product.
If you like w40, you may like smooth laid back sound. Isine will do the work but when you are so used to the comfort I don't think that you will accept comfort of isine.
If I’m paying $2000 for a pair of earbuds it should include everything I mean EVERYTHING. Amazing sound quality, fantastic bass, comfortable fit, but what these earbuds lack is WIRELESS. These buds are packed in with too much wire which is my pet peeve when it comes to earbuds. Sound quality can be a 10/10 but mobility, quality and style also makes earbuds shine.
Can you clarify regarding stage placement in front of listener versus inside the head for these IEMs? One of my big gripes about headphones is the “in your head sound.”
Yep just ordered 4 pairs of these since they are so cheap. One pair for me, one for the wife, one for the kid and one for our family dog. Such a steal of a bargain.
I know there's the niche market for high end music etc. But in Australia these are 4000+ unless your a millionaire only a fucking idiot would buy these. Waste of money. You can just buy a proper usb dac and get the sony bang olufsen bose etc. All under 600 give.
I literally just spit out russian caviar all over my screen when I saw how cheap these headphones are!
I recommend using the Lightening cable (which Audeze will include at no extra charge) because the inline Doc/Amp really makes a difference and it also contains a DSP.
I would love to give these a listen absolutely love the sound of my isine10.

$2500 a bargain? Are you ok.
Hi, thanks for the review. Still relevant in 2024?
How do these compare to the full size lcd4?

Headphones don't necessarily have better sound. And you don't always want isolation when u r outside.
It's not an IEM it's a IEH in ear headphone

No hype Audeze are legit and their customer service top notch
+1
It’s true that Audeze makes incredible products but what’s more important is customer service. They are second to none.
WORD
Nice review! I'll copp these 2495 dollar buds tomorrow with no hesitation! 😃
these are worth owning. The sound is incredible.
Just received them yesterday and all I can say is that they sound fabulous with a good amp/dac. Ran them through the Sony TA-ZH1ES and the OPPO UDP-205 both were really nice.

Jesus that price tag
You mentioned susvara and TC. How do these compare to those headphones?
Which one do you think is better Audeze LCD-i4 or Sony IER-Z1R?
Audeze LCDi4 vs isine LX how much of a difference in the sound
I'd like an answer to this.
Hey, Mike, Alan from TSAV sent me a pair to demo that I'm picking up today. I hope I love them!

It is thinking out of the box - far better performance than the other multi thousand dollar in ears.

These videos are really good for asmr.

tor matha thik ase bhai?
Great video on this model! The best vid I've seen, very informative.
Would you say these are the best in ears you have heard, if not what would be your favorites that you have heard?
yes, these are the best I've used to-date. Second is the Westone W80, third is the Westone W60 then Sony XBA-Z5 and last AKG K3003 (non remote version, made in Austria). Hope that helps.
are they good for music production?

Only one minus to the video. There is some background noise, which can be easily heard. Maybe some mic setup change? :-)
Sir very happy new year and good health♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
thank you! To you as well.
Awesome thing, I'm happy for you !!!
How do these compare to the Beyer Xelento?
Same basic construction as the $600 model, but now four times the price!
Man, what an absolute waste of money.
Great review. what music player is the one you mentioned in this video?
Lotoo Paw Gold
2500€ Headphones 0€ Microphone
I Like the fact these 2999 € IEMs looks like cheaps 60 pounds old Sonys, easier to get under the radar
Nice Mike!
Will you review 64audio tia18? 🙏🏻thanks
bro i wish i had enough disposable income to have things like this

You cant have quality hifi wireless earphones, bluetooth forces it to be compressed.
If you want wireless, you will have to settle with mediocre ones.
Can you clarify regarding stage placement in front of listener versus inside the head for these IEMs? One of my big gripes about headphones is the “in your head sound.”
you gotta increase your mic volume dude. its quiet af
YT videos are very LOUD these days. Just compare the sound level to Netflix and other streaming shows and you'll see what I mean.
What is the name of the portable player ? thanks
Lotoo Paw Gold
What kind of music player?
Lotoo Paw Gold
Yep just ordered 4 pairs of these since they are so cheap. One pair for me, one for the wife, one for the kid and one for our family dog. Such a steal of a bargain.
Are these also designed for iOS devices?
I thought they were earbuds
Like ur vids
thank you for watching them.
I dont wanna see any plastic wrapping at this price point.
Why couldn't they make them wireless ? Isn't that what Apple is pushing for ?
Lol... wireless is for plebs that have no clue about audioquality
legendary
€ 2.999,00. 😱
I would just go to family dollar
2,500USD WOAH
strongyang stupid price.
I’m not going to buy it even if I have 1 million, to be honest that’s crazy. Some people they don’t have what to eat ??
Anything less would be uncivilized
when you not rich but still want see it
The audeze fails in presentation and marketing The presentation in the acrylic box is ugly.
so you prefer a beautiful box over supreme audio quality, right?
No wonder idiots are flocking to buy crap like Beats
Кричу с другого берега!
За такие деньги они должны сами музыку сочинять.
C mamut
Chino sin visa ?
Did u see how this reviewer panicked with the authenticity card. Keep it in a plastic bag while ur at it!

Ignorant waste of money in my book...feed the homeless and get more out of it.....
