Luna's the type of friend who's so calm and random, yet slightly unsettling. Even still, I'd defend her with my life. Even though a muggles life is probably not worth much.
Well, the good people in those books would say that a muggle's life is worth just as much as a wizard's; that's a huge part of what differentiates them from the bad people.

any one else notice she was able to see thru harrys cloak with those glasses, yet nobody eles including the ministry has anything like them, even though they all know that these exist, and that these even enabled her to see thru a hallow version ? she should have had more coverage in the books and movies.
@@sofiaandrade5256 even in the book she saw harry despite the cloak, she just thinks the glasses let her see the creatures not realizing the fuzzyness around him was actually the cloak
@@earlfrancart5687 in the book it's actually tonks who finds harry. And she doesn't see through the cloak as well, she just noticed that Harry didn't leave the train and went in there to look for him.
It's funny, I actually didn't like Luna much when I first read OotP; she grated on me for the same reason she gets on Hermione's nerves, though I did like her last scene with Harry after Sirius' death. I liked her a lot better in HBP, where she had a smaller role and her Quidditch commentary was hilarious. Then the film of OotP came out, and damned if Evanna Lynch wasn't the single most perfect casting choice the filmmakers managed in the entire series, and adorable to boot. And right after that we got the last book, and the mural Luna painted on her bedroom ceiling, which is one of the sweetest, most heartwarming images in the entire series.

She didn't see through the cloak. She saw the invisible creatures harry had on his head or something like that.

Evanna Lynch’s voice is so great it has this airy spacey quality to it that adds to the character.
