This is appalling, honestly. A 'food' tour of bulgaria where you go to a burger joint and a sri lankan restaurant.. Skapto of all places. Sure as a bulgarian I'd grab a burger and would like to try srilankan food but it's nothing to do with the food we eat.

Hi Georgi, Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, I would have to agree that I was surprised to have these 2 restaurants also on the tour, but perhaps it's hard to find real local food willing to give travelers a free taste test? I'm not sure. Also in defense of the tour perhaps it's about the people that make up the food scene as much as it is about the food??? I don't know, but I was surprised there was no traditional dish, or meat dish as that is what I mostly saw Bulgarians eat when I was there. I guess it's hard to run it as a free food tour with meat included, so i'm not sure what the answer is to make it more Bulgarian. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the tour even if it wasn't as Bulgarian as it could have been. I hope you stick around for more from Eastern Europe in the coming weeks :). Nazdrave!
