Pidgeot, Prime Catcher, and the buddy poffins alone are worth the value of entry. Plus you get most of a Charizard deck on top of it.

Correction. Greninjas attack does go through Flare Veil. The ability only blocks effects of attacks, not damage

What do you expect: Will the price go down for the Primecatcher? The price for Forest seal stone went down when it was released in the Miraidon ex deck.

it will definitely go down, it is more expensive than the deck, plus this deck will have more or less 90 usd in cards, so it will be quite competitive prizing
For sure it will. Price is about accessibility. This product guarantees it. Why would you spend $30 on Prime Catcher when you could spend the same money for an entire deck?

Agreed, the BDIF is getting some sweet reprints in, I can understand why they added different cards. Pokemon is alot cheaper than other TCGs out there and they want us to source everything out ourselves, I already have a Zard deck, If I did buy this, I have extra staples like rotom v in my binder and use a complete deck as trade bait lol

These decks are good until april?! You should be making the comments about leaving the cards out until February lol
All of the cards in this deck will survive the 2025 rotation. All of the cards that come with the deck won’t rotate until April 2026 at the earliest.
If you were to upgrade the deck now with many of the “F” block cards you normally see in the deck like Manaphy, Rotom V, Lumineon V, Forest Seal Stone, etc., THOSE cards rotate in March/April 2025. If you’re buying the product before then and want to have the most competitive deck possible, you will want to add those cards to the deck but understand they won’t be legal for long.

@@Fazed_622rotation used to happen after worlds but due to the pandemic it has been in the spring these past few years and yes it is yearly typically 4 sets rotate per year this rotation all regulation F cards will rotate which includes Brilliant stars, astral radiance, lost origin, and silver tempest.
@@Fazed_622 Rotation happens once a year. The pandemic made things weird when it comes to timing, but it's now settled that rotation occurs in March on Pokemon TCG Live to coincide with the release of the first main set of each year. Then rotation for in-person play occurs two weeks after that in early April.
At the bottom left hand side of each card is a letter. That letter is the tournament marking. Currently, legal letters are "F" (cards generally released in 2022), "G" (generally 2023), and "H" (generally 2024).
When rotation occurs in 2025, "F" will no longer be legal for Standard. It will then be "G", "H", and "I". Then in 2026, it "G" will go away and "H", "I", and "J" will be legal. And so on.
I'm hoping to make a rotation FAQ video that outlines this and more soon, but that's the gist of it!

It certainly helped me. I was about to get into the game by specifically building a Charizard deck by building it via singles. Now I can wait and get most of it in one purchase.
@@gamma626 Exactly. I would have built a Charizard EX deck in these coming 2 months as I have a very tight budget atm that's all I could have done. I would have been kicking myself seeing this thing release shortly after. Now I can maybe build a different deck in the mean time thanks to stumbling on this video.
