I believe the message here is the girl growing up without a father figure because he was too busy doing something else in this case its a phone. It could be his job, other love interest, drinking, drugs, etc.... she grew up unloved by her father and the connection between them needs to stay strong so he can show her what a real man is. Ive always had relationship problems because i choose the worst only because i look for my dad in them with the care and love which is why we call it daddy issues and i have it bad for older men too it just happens.
Same we are also passing our time now

Don't blame the phone, blame the person who played it,
A lot of people blame the phone but the truth is phone didn't make you play them is you the one who played it, phone didn't do anything wrong your the one playing with your phone non stop
Well yes but it s proven that phones can have an effect of dependancy on people, so it is pretty questionable.

@EnteBoi True, I do agree that there are more pros than cons. It honestly just depends on how the person uses the internet. I’ll admit a lot of the times I am like the dad in the video but I working on freeing my self from this mental prison I created for myself.. I realized that I use social media, and over consumption of video games, E.T.C to escape my reality instead of facing my problems head on. I need to work on these things in order to do that. I personally think I need to take a break from these things. PS: Sorry for going on a rant about this lmao 😅
Don't ignore others or you'll miss out on things with those you love. Don't be the person who only cares for them selves. Don't be selfish. Think about the people who care for you, if you don't, it may affect them in a negative way. But one thing to know is...

This isn't literal. It's not just about a father and daughter. It's about how we get so lost in our world of technology that we completely ignore the real people and things that matter in our lives until it's too late.
Those online activities will always be there. There will always be people to meet online and websites to visit and videos to watch and money to be made online.
But families and friends won't always be there when we ignore them for too long.
They are our inner strength and values.
Don't let technology ruin your relationships.
This video is truly heart-wrenching, it shows the dreadful reality that we're living in. Kids are in dire necessity of their parents' consideration, they need compliments and pieces of advice in order to develop themselves more. But sadly, parents nowadays forget their duty towards their children and dive into the virtual world that alienates their minds and has a huge negative impact on their real lives.
We need to change before time ticks away!!

Though, what I'm trying to point out is how much of an effect electronic technology has in this generation, especially the ones growing up with them, and how that might affect future society. The accountability for the massive change in society is for the governments themselves. Though, I'm not excusing ourselves, we still need to take accountability for it as citizens, it is just that the government is meant to regulate the masses. And the masses are slowly, but significantly, failing because it is letting this generation fall addicted.
That was breaking my heart seeing that girl try to get his attention and then seeing how he missed her growing up. By the time he looked away from his phone he missed her entire childhood and looked like she was coming home from college. Those were a sad 2 minutes watching this video.
I think she was actually leaving home in the end.
This short film is so necessary to watch it and to learn from it . It shows and means that the entire world is changing . Nowadays , everything's digital . Kids need their parents for their experience , but with the technology , parents are unconscious of their kids to give them advises . And the truly sad thing in this generation is that the impact of parents can be on their kids .
Firstly, i aquired from this video a precious value which is " Family is over anything. The video is giving us the results of the man right here who is focusing and destracted in his phone which keep him away from his family by forgetting passing some moments with them. I think we should control our selves and controling our selves to be digital well-being and i order to balance between the real world and the virtual one.
The video is quite moving. It shows the sad reality of how technology has taken control of us to the point where parents have forgotten their parental responsibilities and duties, even though their children are in desperate need of their attention. Children want compliments ,attention and advise to assist them in growing themselves more, but all they get is gross negligence.

This short movie sends us a very important message, which is that the digital technology is a double-edged sword which if not used well has terrific consequences, meaning that it all depends upon how and for what we use it. So in summary, digital technology is a mean that gets us closer to those who are far from us, but farther from those who are near us.

What is interesting is that irrespecrive of what content he was on, even positive such as science, news, reading e-books, puzzles etc, the fact is unchanged: child is affected and neglected.

I can relate to this so much and this life style has brought me sadness but i also relied on males in relationships with me to keep me company but no male can ever ease the pain of missing your father. Whats done is done
My mom is basically addicted to her phone, And my dad is abroad to work, They both have work, And my brother is addicted to his computer aswell not a single day goes by without them using their gadgets, Which ultimately has affected me, Everytime I try to get my mom's attention like ''Hi mommy, How was work'' she'd just look at her phone, Or she'd say ''I'm good'' Then immediately goes back to her phone, I just kind of wish I never introduced her to tiktok, It brings her joy but I can see it has also affected her physically, She doesn't even wanna go zumba/dance anymore, It's like i'm raising myself, I love her I understand being a nurse is hard, But I wish that she'd stop using her phone every once and a while.

This video is quite sad. It stands for the world in which we currently reside. Parents neglect their children. More than ever, they require their parents. Children are at a stage where they require encouragement and some words of wisdom to develop their personalities. Unfortunately, parents nowadays are so engaged in their devices and the virtual world that they have forgotten about the actual world. Their body and mind are separated because of the situation they are in. Before it's too late, we must react.

When parents are distracted in their parenting they will build poorer social competence and developement in young children.This is an immortal obsession that will impact the offspring . Wow! What a sad little video! It’s heartbreaking knowing that our lives are being controlled by today’s technology. I realize how important it is for it has helped us in many ways. But we are all forgetting what’s really important… and that is each other, the closeness of relationships and more importantly the communication between each other. It’s diminishing day by day and falling to the wayside. I miss the ole’ days of rotary phones.
