For security forces. When you get to your first base, how many years are you assigned just to the gate? At what point in a 4 year contract can you go apply to the dog handler program, raven, etc?

Depends really... in Texas the only time we did was if there was an aircraft crash, in Germany yes, but only if there was a car accident involving an American service member or dependent. The Army was responsible for that stuff, but they were an hour away.

I think AF Tech School changes after every cycle, for all kinds of reasons. Political Correctness, new technology, new ideas, etc. The Air Force, like all the other Branches has to be flexible. Can LE be scary? Yes, but training takes over. I will never forget running code to a Traffic Accident with Unknown Injuries, came around a corner a tad to fast, but I used my training to safely make turn (my Partner was whiter than normal), and I got there in time to call for a Medevac and help with the stretcher. All in a day's work for a TAI at Ft Hood. Dealt with a highly agitated individual with a History of violence on LEOs. We talked him out of violence. Law Enforcement in General have a dark sense of humor. It's a coping mechanism. You see it a lot with troops who are in Combat or who have just returned. The way you deal with stuff that normal people don't see, does effect you. But having a support network of other people who do the same job, is what keeps you okay. Glad to see Blue Falcon is not just an Army term. Women have to prove themselves more. That's why women are going through Ranger School now. Empowerment and having the same chances as men. We had Female MPs chosen to be Gunners. Gender Equality is pushed in the Army Military Police. If you can't pull your own weight, you are useless (this goes for men, too). You sound like a typical sexist and misogynist. Women prove themselves EVERY DAY, both in civilian jobs and the military! How about YOU need to educate yourself more.
In general the officers are dealing with more administrative stuff. Manning, budgets, discipline, plans and programs, meetings with leadership from other units, preparation for inspections. Second lieutenants will be shift commanders but once they get promoted they usually will not be doing operational duties.

Logan , and Devan I feel bad for both of you keep getting those hate and ugly messages from people about scamming and using Logan’s picture. Some people can’t differentiate between real Logan and scammers . I have shared ur video with my work colleagues and few other friends to make them aware of scamming . I can’t stop you guys getting hate messages but I will try to spread awareness among group of people .

kyle dantoni I’m in security forces about to graduate, OC does suck but the burning pain only really lasts about 10-12 hours. The worst part is getting it out of your eyes but that takes about 10 min.

I literally had a less than a month to study for my asvab and passed but held off because I wanted HVAC which pays great after your enlistment. But if you want to go police officer or state trooper route. SecFo is the way. Theres more opportunities if you continue schooling but if I was to chose Secfo. I'd only do a 4 year contract and become a state trooper or standard police officer

31 for the army 36 for the airforce But those are the scores to join. If you want SF you have to get a score of G33. All jobs are based on your ‘borderline scores’. The airforce uses M A G E to pick your jobs

Usually halfway through you contract if you qualify, so about 2 years.
