    Killer that step in so hot, me scorch the floor
    Premier League, we have the Arsenal fi fight the revolutionary bakkle, 'cause only the bakkle dem fi pour
    Di youths dem fi rich, equal rights empowerment
    Tell dem fi leave the sun fi shine, or black rain will shower dem
    Nuh mek we leggo sixty like di hour dem DJ Khaled, run out di coward dem
    This is a warning like me pop it off and beat one
    Food fi reach the people mouth an money fi a reach hand

      Now that I think about it.. its not that I was never a fan of Khaled it was actually the rappers he was putting on his beats. Didn't feel those rappers. The beats were always on point. But he also used to yell all over the track which I thought was kinda swagger jackin dj kayslay/ dj drama and gangsta grillz

Even when he went down JA you can see the way he says to Capleton “Fireman” and the way he holds down the culture and blows he’s horn and secure those Capleton Sizzla Buju Killer Dubplates, you could he himself is catching some goosebumps and it’s become a spiritual thing. Something surreal. 🙏🏾🔥🔥

    • @PointofVision559
      @PointofVision559 Год назад +3

      Sizzla played himself. The plaque he received was from when his first son was born and even was asked to be his godfather. The rumor his people are trying to put out is that the girl from that father of asad album was gay. But if that’s the case why did he appear on albums after?

    • @PointofVision559
      @PointofVision559 Год назад +10

      On top of all that, the real complaint was that his name was small on the plaque he received. Plaques are given when artist have featured on another person’s album with said art work. Plaques are not cheap and this one was gifted because the amount of respect khaled has for not only the culture but sizzla himself. And the man tun round and do that.
      To answer your how question, JAZZY T from renaissance sound first brought khaled to Jamaica in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Everyone in Miami knows khaled used to play a full hour of dubs and dancehall on 99 jams here in Miami. So there’s no culture vulture there

      Awesome stuff, I've been listening to this my whole life and now moving into the Latino/ Reggaeton space, not much different other than I don't know the language well. I grew up on dancehall, soca space. I do miss the women that were in the space. Nonetheless, music has is a home for all.

      I'm the same way! Mainly metal and punk with some rap thrown in there. Wouldn't have known much about Jamaican music at all if it weren't for my bf being Jamaican and showing me a lot. The music is untouchable 100%. There isn't much music that can keep me moving and interested but the best switch up and the jumps between voices is fucking 🔥 I don't understand too much of the lyrics but the sound delivery is on point. Been a long ass time since I liked a song so much and for it to not even be in my typical genre is eye opening. Jamaica doing their thing!

    it's the texture, the cadence play, the octaves, the sailing high of Barrington Levy to the gravely lows of Buju and Capelton to the going between the two of Bounty Killer, it's the stare/glare over top the shades and through your soul, it's the regal throwing of the bows...it's the dance, it's the food, it's the love of their culture. This gave me soooo much life.
