I'm pretty sure these two teams have a healthy fear of each other. IMO, they are the two teams in the NFL that could play a perfect game... and yet still lose to the other. And we basically saw that in the 13 seconds game, decided on a razor's edge.
But I think the advantage goes to the Bills on this one. As a team, they've had a better season. Allen has outplayed Mahomes this season. The Bills have already won in Arrowhead, which is why they have the #2 seed; tied records, but they earned the right to play KC at home by beating them in their home.
If the Bills beat the Chiefs next week, they should make Toney a honorary team member for being offsides on a spectacular play by Kelce and giving the Bills the #2 seed.😂

I’m not a fan of neither, KC was an offsides away from winning in the regular season. Bills defense is beyond banged up, and KC defense is one of tue top 3 in the playoffs. So, fear is a strong word.

They were winning in the passing game by using cook; however, we didn’t have MLB Tranquill that game, we could adjust to Bills offense. We stopped them in the second half; however, we didn’t even have our start RB that game. and it was some calls that was questionable

Both teams respect each other. Very evenly matched teams, moreso when Buffalo is healthy which they aren't right now unfortunately for them. This is the most vulnerable KC has been with Patrick Mahomes. The arrowhead advantage can't be understated and the Chiefs are gonna get the flip side of that coin on sunday. I think Buffalo should be like a 2.5 pt favorite just because of the venue, but really it's anyones guess what's gonna happen on Sunday. KC's defense is way more healthy than Buffalos, and that could be the deciding factor.
KC vs Buffalo is the best ongoing rivalry in football. It really reminds me of Brady vs Manning in the 2000s.

All this "on the road talk" is best used on another player. Mahomes career record is better on the road than at home, that wont be the reason if they lose. It'll just be because it was Buffalo's day to win, not because of location.

Fear could be a word used but I think respected is better. In their last 4 matchups the Bills are 3-1 and Allen has outplayed Mahomes in every game including the 13 second game. Now he is 0-2 in the playoffs. The AFC Champ game where Allen and the Bills didn’t play great and the infamous 13 second game. Both in Arrowhead now. I think the home game will make a difference. The crowd noise and calling plays in the huddle will be completely different. Should be a great game.

Last time the Chiefs played the Bills, Pacheco was out, Donovan Smith was out and so was Bolton and Tranquil. We were out of a starting running back, tackle, and two linebackers. Now they are all healthy. Plus the Bill defense are hurt badly. I think it will be different. Bills always beat us in the regular season, but it’s different when its playoffs.

One thing I've noticed is this. Both Josh and Mahomes get passes. They just run around and nobody really tries to HIT them. Since when are defenders not salivating to wreck Qbs when they get the chance. Especially when they run. Something doesn't seem right. Notice I only said these two specific qbs. Probably the slowest of all the mobile qbs.

The Chiefs D is arguably the best in the league. They haven't given up more than 27 this season, and defense travels. Mahomes is better on the road than at home. Chiefs don't fear nobody, especially a team that hasn't done sh!t in the playoffs.
Haven't heard a lot about the extra rest KC is afforded, big plus this time of year to have 2 full days. I understand how people outside of KC can question the Chiefs, or even Mahomes. When it's playoff time, Mahomes time, it's hard to figure people thinking of him as an underdog, you know he loves that. Getting over 400 yards on the 4th coldest game in history can't be over-stated, the dude is ready to go. He could barely walk normal all playoff games last year and won a SB. In the nut busting cold last week he looked like he was 20 again and had fresh legs. One of the few times he's been healthy going into the playoffs so it should be fun, the weather in Buf on Sun looks balmy.

Chiefs defense is way better than years past. If it weren’t for Toney lining up offside the Chiefs would have won the last regular season game. Chiefs played bad on offense that game. If they play like they did against Miami and are living in the red zone the Bills won’t win. Allen will press and turn the ball over. I doubt this will be a shoot out. It will be lower scoring. Whoever takes care of the ball better will win.

Surprisingly I'm with Shady and James on this 😂Pat shouldn't be afraid of anybody, but he should know what he's going up against, and he clearly does. He and Josh Allen are very good friends and have tremendous respect and admiration for each other. Both of them know how tough the other is.
I think the other thing that I didn't see them mention is this: The Bills are at home, and they have something to prove. They have to prove they can beat Mahomes in the playoffs. They have to prove they can defend their own house against the team that's sent them home multiple times. They have to prove that they can get past the divisional round.
This isn't just the Bills being hot. There's a history and a narrative that they have a chance to squash. At home. You'd better believe they want it.

Yeah look I’m a KC fan born and raised. I don’t believe they’ll underestimate us not one bit because we have a history in the regular season and post season with this team only this time around it’s not at our field it’s at there’s. So really I believe it’s gunna be a classic between Josh and Pat but I cannot for certain say we’ll win but I still believe that as long as Pat has the ball in his hand with one drive left to win it and move on he’s gunna get it done.

Both of Buffalo's playoff loses occurred when Tyreek Hill was still playing for the Chiefs. Since Hill was traded to the Dolphins, KC has not won a single game against Josh Allen. Hill's absence will be noticed this weekend... because Hill was a huge factor in both of the previous playoff losses.

I disagree. The pressure is on the Chiefs because they are the defending champs, played poorly on offense all year, have young guys playing at WR that really haven’t experienced a pressure game, and have never played an away game in the Mahomes playoff era. The noise will affect the OL, audibles, etc and Pat has had a free pass his whole career during the playoffs for that. The home team always gets better calls from the officials. Buffalo also has swirly kicking winds and it forces one of the worst opponent FG completion % in the league. If the Chiefs lose, the narrative around Mahomes /Reids invincibility will lose some of its luster as being heavily aided by their home field. The Bills are playing with a bunch of backups and were dead 6 weeks ago. They are playing loose.
Eh, don't agree. This is the game/year that Buffalo is given the chance to finally beat KC. Home field, playing good, KC not nearly as great offensively as the past 5 years. This all is lined up for the Bills to win. KC defense is great this year and they were all sitting around watching Allen fling off missed tackles. KC just played in negative temps and played well. They have confidence going into Buffalo, no matter the elements. They have two rings in the last five years and Buffalo wants/needs a super bowl appearance this year. I think the pressure is definitely on the Bills. If they don't beat the Chiefs this year, it becomes more psychological. If they do, like I said, most of the KC team has a ring from last year and will come out hungry next year. @@markski813
