The greatest sacrifice in my opinion was done by Hidimba. She safeguarded her husband and his family when they were in dire peril. Yet she was left behind with out a backward glance. She raised her son and lost him in the battle. Neither did her husband or his family show any humanity towards her. Her story and her sacrifice were perhaps the greatest but due to her being a Rakshash she was not given her due.

I think subhadra also suffered a lot she always support her sons , brother and husband without any questions. He raised all her 6 sons alone and give them good value and become an ideal mother. I think subhadra 's pain was same as droupadi when she loss upandavas because droupadi give birth to upandavas but subhadra give love to them. Grow them like a plant with her mother love, never make them realize that she doesn't give birth to them. I think she feels the same pain or more when she loss upandavas and abhimnayu.

Subhadra's pain was comparatively less than Uttara, Draupadi,Gandhari. Upapandavas was raised by Drupad maharaj in Panchal not Subadhra. only Abhimanyu stayed in Dwaraka but yes she loved them.

But Subhatra also daughter of Devaki ..but in very early months of pragnency ..the young one has shifted ..from Devaki to Rohini..in Brindavan.., before few months of the birth .. So that Subhatra was called as a maya yoghini.... I don't know the actual story of Subhatra ..& She was delivered by Rohini.. Balaram was the real son of Rohini.

She cannot she her third husband arjun for 12 years. 3.Even after marrying them they didd not kept their promise of not marrying anyone . All the Pandavas married others . ( I am not saying that the Pandavas don't love Draupadi , they loved her . ) But the most pain she got when arjun married subhadra . 4. She was also humiliated by sishupal in the court of indraprastha during the aswamedha yajna . though shree krishna killed sishupal. 5. She was humiliated in the court of Hastinapur by dragging her from her room and then humiliating her in the court by trying to ' vastraharan " . Though shree krishna helped her . But she still felt the pain of humiliation . Her husband's cannot do anything because they were made servents and tied with the big iron chains so that they cannot save her . But they made vow to kill the Kauravas. 6. They were sent to exile for 13 years . 7. She was abducted twice during the exile. 8. She cannot see her son's for 13 years. 9. She also worked as a servent to the queen sudeshna for one year . 10. She was also humiliated by sudeshna's brother keechak . Though bheem killed him . Arjun cannot help her because he was disguised as a woman. During the killing time arjun kept on giving himself pain by beating the dhol with his hand very hard and by that his hand filled with blood . 11. She lost her father and sons in the war . 12. She also became depressed and sad when she heard that her sakha krishna died due to the arrow . 13. She was also told by Gandhari that she was the main cause of her 100 son's death . 14 .when she went in search of her husband arjun in the mountain she got unconscious because the needle like leaves gave pain to her in her feet and arjun carried her from the mountain . So it is that the most of the pain is suffered by Draupadi

Though I didn't understand what it means.Then my father brought Ramayana, Garuda puran, Saptshati, Matsya puran and many more strotam and shlok. And thus I see how society functions, what's actually dharm, evil things that are still prevalent in society in name of God and Dharma. For example why God gives inner sense. Coming to your doubt, In their exile, the Upapandavas lived in their maternal kingdom Panchala, with Drupada and later in Dwarka, where they grew up and were taught by Pradyumna, in the art of warfare and other things (at both the places). And then, they finally decided to join their fathers, the Pandavas, in the War, where they perished at the last night. (Some scripts follow this and some don't, many think they were brought up at Panchal and the others think they were brought up at Dwarka)

Actually Gandhari lost her fatherand 100 brothers (99 Brothers due to her husband),100 sons , 1 son in law but Draupadi compare to Gandhari suffered more. In short Gandhari's 100 sons were killed by Bhim and only son in law was killed by Arjun for they bad deed.

Hello everyone. First of all thank you all to present your views about these video and give me suggestions about what is correct and what is wrong in the video.
Many say that the rankings of the women are not in the correct order. I would like to make clear that I have not ranked or given position to any of them, we cannot count anyone's sacrifices here.

I don't think so that madri sacrificed in her life . Instead she got all the attention from pandu as she was young . It was because of her pandu had to suffer the curse . Even kunti was heart broken because of her
Hey .... 2013 Mahabharat had portrayed madri like a lady full with attitude but actually she was very loving towards kunti. She had accepted exile along with Pandu and kunti.

Subhadra lives without Arjuna for 13 years and she raised up abhimanyu and uppandavs alone and even lost them in the war
And uttara lost her father brother and husband in a very small age...
And she faced the pain of brhamastra also..
Subhadra's pain was comparatively less than Uttara, Draupadi,Gandhari. Upapandavas was raised by Drupad maharaj in Panchal not Subadhra. only Abhimanyu stayed in Dwaraka but yes she loved them.
Panchali aka Draupadi ka jeevan bohot kathin tha aisa dukh kabhi kisi women ko nahi mile.. All men in the world respect all women!! Agar stree janm bhi deti hai to sab kuch destroy bhi kar sakti hai pls respect all Women!!
The great sacrificers of Mahabharat was,Gandhari,kunti Draupadi ,subhadra and uttra . They have lots of pain in Mahabharat😔😔 I salute them and their bravery..

Losing a loved one is always difficult to deal with. All the sacrifices made by these women and also the wives and the daughters of the soldiers that died during the war are unforgettable. Salute to all these strong women who sacrificed so much for a better tomorrow

Why no one is mentioning the sacrifice of Subhadra,she raised her son as well as Draupadi sons , lost her son, whole of her dwarka was destroyed, still she stayed in hastinapur to guide Parikshit ,when her husband left for heavenly abode

Subhatra was a daughter of Rohini & Vasudev..
But Subhatra also daughter of Devaki ..but in very early months of pragnency ..the young one has shifted ..from Devaki to Rohini..in Brindavan.., before few months of the birth ..
So that Subhatra was called as a maya yoghini....
I don't know the actual story of Subhatra ..& She was delivered by Rohini..
Balaram was the real son of Rohini.

I think most of the pain was suffered by Draupadi because
1. She loved arjun the most and because of kuntis order she had to marry all the Pandavas .
2. She cannot she her third husband arjun for 12 years.
3.Even after marrying them they didd not kept their promise of not marrying anyone . All the Pandavas married others . ( I am not saying that the Pandavas don't love Draupadi , they loved her . ) But the most pain she got when arjun married subhadra .
4. She was also humiliated by sishupal in the court of indraprastha during the aswamedha yajna . though shree krishna killed sishupal.
5. She was humiliated in the court of Hastinapur by dragging her from her room and then humiliating her in the court by trying to ' vastraharan " . Though shree krishna helped her . But she still felt the pain of humiliation . Her husband's cannot do anything because they were made servents and tied with the big iron chains so that they cannot save her . But they made vow to kill the Kauravas.
6. They were sent to exile for 13 years .
7. She was abducted twice during the exile.
8. She cannot see her son's for 13 years.
9. She also worked as a servent to the queen sudeshna for one year .
10. She was also humiliated by sudeshna's brother keechak . Though bheem killed him . Arjun cannot help her because he was disguised as a woman. During the killing time arjun kept on giving himself pain by beating the dhol with his hand very hard and by that his hand filled with blood .
11. She lost her father and sons in the war .
12. She also became depressed and sad when she heard that her sakha krishna died due to the arrow .
13. She was also told by Gandhari that she was the main cause of her 100 son's death .
14 .when she went in search of her husband arjun in the mountain she got unconscious because the needle like leaves gave pain to her in her feet and arjun carried her from the mountain .
So it is that the most of the pain is suffered by Draupadi

Puri Mahabharata hi striyo ke balidaano se bani hui hai. Chhahe draupadi ho ya amba dono ne apman sahe.Har stree ne apne balidaan se dharm ki sthapana ki hai. Log Ranbhoomi mein ladne ko hi shourya aur veerta maante h. Par asli veerta yeh h ki tum jaanti ho ki tumhara pati/beta yudhbhoomi mein jaane ke baad lautega nhi par phir bhi dharm ke liye yeh tyag bhi hona chahiye.

Though I didn't understand what it means.Then my father brought Ramayana, Garuda puran, Saptshati, Matsya puran and many more strotam and shlok. And thus I see how society functions, what's actually dharm, evil things that are still prevalent in society in name of God and Dharma. For example why God gives inner sense. He gives us to judge between wrong and right. Whenever we are about to do something wrong, our soul always warn us. See our ancestors link most of the scientific things to religion. And this is a scientific era.So people don't believe calling it a superstition. But when you see things differently, you'll able to understand logic behind them. There is a mistake in mahabharat it was said Draupadi's sons were raised by Draupadi's father when she was in exile but you told they were raised by subhadra

Coming to your doubt,
In their exile, the Upapandavas lived in their maternal kingdom Panchala, with Drupada and later in Dwarka, where they grew up and were taught by Pradyumna, in the art of warfare and other things (at both the places). And then, they finally decided to join their fathers, the Pandavas, in the War, where they perished at the last night.
(Some scripts follow this and some don't, many think they were brought up at Panchal and the others think they were brought up at Dwarka)

In some versions it is mentioned and in other it is not. Therefore we can't say accurately that they were only raised in Panchal or not.

Another thing how Ambika and Ambalika were forced to sleep with a man who is not their husband just to produce heirs.
You forgot Radha maa.. Karna's mother... She didn't gave birth to Karn but loved him more than she would love her own son.. but in the Mahabharata, she lost him..

Gandhari has sacrificed more than anyone. She sacrificed herself to marry and save her kingdom, she was blindfolded to experience pain of her husband, lost all 100 sons and her only daughter became widow.
Actually Gandhari lost her fatherand 100 brothers (99 Brothers due to her husband),100 sons , 1 son in law but Draupadi compare to Gandhari suffered more. In short Gandhari's 100 sons were killed by Bhim and only son in law was killed by Arjun for they bad deed.

Yeah war is not nice but Pandavas did not get anything until the war . They faced the conspiracy of Kauravas . If they did not fought the war then they would not have got any rights in their whole life. And they also did the war because of the humiliation faced by Draupadi in the court of Hastinapur
Even karma's wife vrishali made sacrifice a lot.
