I have a large pitcher/vase that matches that purple Czech hobnail glass! Mine has no markings that I've been able to see. I've found candlestick holders that have sold, but never been able to find anything else on it! - It has sat in our Curio cabinet for well over 2 years now because I am not wanting to list it until I know for sure what it is!
Always replace pre war cables. The old isolation gets brittle and cracks. Serious risk of electrocution or fire. Electricity is dangerous. There is no: this still works. Old cables are broken by default. get rid of them. There are decent modern alternaties with fabric and vintage look. A tad pricey, but it will last another 75 years.
On that large vase with the etched bird that you were thinking Moser, have you checked to see if it might be unmarked Fenton? I've seen large vases in amber with detailed etching from the 1940's that were Fenton. Not sure about that color that you have there. Maybe check in a Fenton group.

The Czech piece color is periwinkle. It's not purple, it's not blue, but it is something in between. Artists have been arguing this for generations.
