I think any time sx is in top or second position, there's a kind of heightened sensitivity to impact. This leads to a heightened state when they perceive they're having an intense impact on someone else and/or when they feel impacted by another strongly. Usher in things like love bombing, interchangeable trajectory, etc. The thing that can bring about longevity and real sustainably is when they meet someone who can go beyond making them feel great and vice versa, but someone whom they actually deeply respect, admire, and like on multiple levels for who that person is rather than how they make them feel
I remember one of my So/Sx coworkers told me about this party I chose not to go to and they were like: “Everyone got so wasted OMG drunk people everywhere some guy was throwing up in the bushes hahahahaha” and all I could think was “Thank god I wasn’t there to see any of that because that sounds fucking embarrassing”
The purpose thing is incredibly true, I feel like my partner takes that spot that requires physical commitment so socially it’s all nice and bubbly until someone says “we should-“, I always end up thinking don’t do that we had something nice here.
Sx is also supposed to be about your passion that doesnt need to be someone. And, social is also supposed to be doing something for society, not necessarily with others. Am I right? I am confused about you saying sx cannot enjoy something they are passionate about, on their own. I believe I am Sp blind and I enjoy my anime, shows and videogames alone quite well. I would say that seeing interactions with fictional characters help in this regard.
Sx is more so about finding an attraction to others and having others find you attractive... As an Sx/So, I can now see how everything that I do is subconsiously moved by "will this help me find my partner" or "will my partner hear this "song" or will he vibe with the music I'm putting out" There's almost nothing I do in my day to day that isn't focused on creating that attractive persona for my partner. Corelating that with the behaviour of other animals, the Sx instinct is like a whale singing a song, or a bird which makes a nest or displays a dance with colorful plumage... Why plants spend so much energy on colour flowers and sweet fruits... the end goal *IS* to attract a mate, to mate, that's the point, that's the inertia moving the behaviour... There's no other reason for it. Now, an So/Sx might use that song or dance to Sattisfy their primary So instinct of connection and bonding... That's *Their* end goal, their inertia... the community

I dont agree SP has to do with being productive. For SOs duty and beind dependable can lead to a lot of productivity. For sx is passion and drive.
