Fred Murray started the 'local dirtbag' motto. My opinion, absolutely a local or someone very familiar with the area came along, offered her a ride and did her in. Keep strong Murray family.

I agree totally - everything else does not make much sense. She was not a victim of coincidence definitely. The only other realistic option is her vanishing voluntarily - but why should she then pack all her shit (books, etc) and take it with her on her last trip?

No one deserves that.. Im sending love and prayers to her family, her beautiful father and sisters and brother..i can't imagine the pain! One of my favorite episodes. Great job! It is ironic that Rick F has a music video that shows a bridge kinda like the one mentioned in the show, plus if you listen to lyrics of some of his music, it's super creepy. He has been one of my top interests as to what he really does know.

It surprises me that some people think running into a creep or murderer is such a long shot. That area is remote..some people that live there chose that place for a reason, because they have skeletons in the closet and are trying to get away from publicity or being found out. Add in the New Englander tendency to mind your own business and it’s an attractive place for a dirtbag to live.

The brush burning would have been planned before hand or the fire department would have shut it down. It usually takes time to get the permit and have the fire department inspect it to make sure it doesn’t burn the whole neighborhood to the ground. It’s also usually a requirement to have a fire truck present or on standby for the duration of the burning.

Wait, has anyone seen the video Rick Forcier has that is called , I want to thank you, it's a fathers day song or something. There are home videos of himself and I'm assuming his children, someone's children from the ninties up til they are older. Some footage shot inside a trailer, it makes him look like a human , rather than the monster I'm imagining stalking stranded young women. I mean he could just be an artistic loaner that doesn't want Maggie and Art to high speed chase him down the road and it's a coincidence the dogs lost her scent near his home. I mean I don't know him personally but it isn't out side the reality realm for a guy to make a bad joke to his ex wife when she mentions a missing girl in his area. I mean there are plenty of other local dirt bag that are way more dirt filled than he is...

    • @MikeJones-rk1un
      @MikeJones-rk1un 6 лет назад +4

I'm getting a little tired of you flatlanders calling locals up here "Dirtbags". There are far more dirtbags in your neighborhood and in the city than around northern NH. I leave my doors unlocked and the keys in my car. Can you say the same thing? Hell, I even forget my sidearm in my car sometimes.

And for you to attack me personally just goes to prove y'all aren't only filled with dirtbags , you are also rude as hell. Tim and Lance have so many jackasses commenting these days on their posts it's so sad that people feel good about themselves treating people they don't know like this. That's the least of the weird shit Rick has done.
      Watch his music video called
      Stalker Rick Forcier
Says it's a True Story and some girl knocks on his door and is hiding on his property. This is very possible that Maura could have been hiding on his property as he lived where she crashed.
He most likely befriended her and she hid out in his house while the cops were outside. He forced himself on her and than killed her.
At first he claims he saw a woman looking like Maura but 5miles down the road. He tried to place Maura away from the accident scene which happened to be his property.
Suddenly he wants to help find her and when the cops ask for more help he wont. He did not.let them search for Maura on his property and was the only one that said no.

This episode has recently become shockingly relevant around the 44:00 minute mark. That house sounds familiar. James Renner posted on twitter that John Boutilier lived at the residence but you guys said in the podcast that it was Gary. I'm assuming they're related. Possibly brothers or father and son? Tim and Lance or anyone, what is John and Gary relationship, and was Gary ever convicted of anything?

Christ. I commented on the other video mentioning it. exactly what I would do if a couple of strange weirdos stalked my driveway and followed me down the road, speeding after me? I would try to get away and pull into a public lot. "why are you getting into a high speed car chase with a documentary crew.." because you were chasing him. honest to God, don't be an idiot. it's not bizarre, strange or suspicious, it's common sense. now sure, he might need to be looked into, but it's not because he ran when people chased him. I swear she really grates more and more.

  • @TomDavidMcCauley

“Why are you getting in a high-speed chase to run from a documentary crew?” I mean, doesn’t your question answer itself? The fact that you feel entitled to an interview with someone who did not call you back-and therefore obviously did not wish to talk to you, which wish you flagrantly violated, with no authority to do so-and then start actually chasing him…why the hell would anyone want to talk to you after something like that? Don’t be dense. Just the way you are speculating about him and his lifestyle totally justifies his desire to not want to talk to you, and then you have the gall to not only chase him down, but go online and discuss the situation in holier-than-thou tones as if there’s something wrong with him, without pointing a single finger at yourself and your predatory tactics. You’re not the cops. You’re not actually entitled to anyone’s time. Have some damn humility, it will get you a lot further in life

Parking at the barn? At least these people aren't trying to charge for parking and profit from this tragedy like this podcast is. People live in this area because they like their privacy and resent pushy intruders. I believe you guys are sincere in wanting to help solve this case but you are just amateurs and people are not going to take the time to answer any and all question from every yahoo who calls them or knocks on their door. I"m also sure you can't understand that some people in this area are subsistence hunters at times and fish and game often goes too far to bring charges against them. Fish and game are the ones that started the Carl Drega mess, so lets not put too much significance on fish and game, who often spend their time on the clock with binoculars watching couples at the lake or river trying to get a thrill. I have seen them. You might be better off looking at corrupt law enforcement in the area, who would have the means to cover up such a crime. If there even was a crime.

I think James Renner was probably the most vigilant investigative journalist in this entire saga but I think he misinterpreted many of the people and events from the case. He was initially very suspicious of the family but we soon learned that he was operating on some false assumptions and I think Renner would admit as much.
When I hear this story about Forcier, it makes me wonder why he is scared. Self preservation can exist in several different contexts. It seems very possible to me that this dude could be aware of what happened that night and has changed his story because his testimony could implicate someone that he is more scared of than he is of police or he is of public suspicion.
I can even take into consideration what his ex wife has to say but it almost sounds like his more eccentric behavior began to become increasingly concerning after the MM incident. I can imagine a world in which Maura is running by his trailer and he sees her running and then possibly sees officer McKay in that same short window of time.... driving SUV 001 of course. I'm imagining all this and then wondering how a kind of strange, artistic-type dude might handle the possibly guilty knowledge of what happened to MM being outweighed by his intense fear of implicating a cop or even that Floyd fella.
I can very much get on board with a theory that involves Forcier as being involved but for some reason I get the feeling that he was repressing what he saw but then eventually he starts testing waters to see if he can put out these rumors of Maura being in the area without him actually having to go on the record. Maybe he puts that out and then suddenly an angry party confronts him about running his mouth and now suddenly, he didn't see Maura near his trailer, it was actually 5 miles away....
    I dunno, just a thought...

Those videos he made were disgusting and heartless. Not interested in anything he has to say..

Look this girl did not go alone. And I think she went with someone or was to meet a person she trusted.. You don't go buy all those alcoholic beverages to have by yourself. I think it was to the party at her school and it went wrong later

The fact that some of the alcohol was missing when her abandoned car was first looked at is something many overlook. It points to her friend picking her up after crash. The question from then for me is when did the friend separate from Maura and where would they leave her?

And, no pings from her cell phone? How could this be with a friend?
