Nashors is good when you think you'll be farming really heavy and when you have more extended fights so you can get more autos and passive procs in. If you look at both team comps - red side is very squishy and all champs are relatively easy to assassinate if Diana gets a lead. Also blue side already has some frontline with Udyr and off tank/engage with thresh. Lich bane plays well into this. The biggest downside to lich bane is it requires a large rod purchase which isn't always easy to get a good reset for, but here she gets a good purchase at 8 mins for it.
