I won't lie. The saddest part is that Michikatsu really loved his family. It just envy blinded him so much that he no longer sees the love of his brother Yoriichi which he has troubles expressing emotions. Another thing is that he even took a liking to Muichiro and wanted to make him his aprentice. If Genya was never there then Muichiro becoming a demon would be a success lol

If you think about in, in some way Tanjiro and Tokito are kinda related. Since Tanjiro’s ancestor was really good friend with Yoriichi you could almost say they were brothers. So Kokushibo is mui’s super great grandfather and Yoriichi is Kokushibo’s actual brother, that means Tanjiro and Tokito are indirect cousins.🤔
